Instead of our current tendency to be more like a barrel full of drunk angry Honeybadgers that have suddenly decided they do give a fuck after all.

AlistairSim Wed 22-Jun-16 18:46:18

Are you looking for a fight or harking back to days of yore?

Sparkletastic Wed 22-Jun-16 18:46:53

Yeah. Me too. You knew where you were when it were all viperish.

TrippyMcTrapFace Wed 22-Jun-16 18:49:41

YANBU.

AlistairSim Wed 22-Jun-16 18:51:10

I do fondly remember the days when you didn't have to proof read your posts to the extreme so that you didn't inadvertently give the wrong impression, use incorrect grammar/spelling etc.

>sigh<

NorksAreMessy Wed 22-Jun-16 18:53:19

I very much HATE the arrival of "lighthearted"

In them olden days, I was trusted to recognise when something was funny.

Sparkletastic Wed 22-Jun-16 18:55:28

Better class of trolls back in the day too
<sage nod>

ThatsMyStapler Wed 22-Jun-16 19:02:56

I've only been here a couple of years, but I hate 'lighthearted'

FucksSake Wed 22-Jun-16 19:04:31

I'm relatively new (compared to some) and even I think it's got a bit shite over the past 18 months or so.

I have a fucking good troll-dar now, though.

FancyPuffin Wed 22-Jun-16 19:06:32

I miss the larking sad

StillStayingClassySanDiego Wed 22-Jun-16 19:07:05

I'm pissed off that offering an honest [not a goady fucker ] answer gets the shock faces turning up telling you you're an arse and you should hmm be fucking ashamed.

BillSykesDog Wed 22-Jun-16 19:07:12

I remember when all this wut trees, and the big house paid for your Christening and your funeral and looked after you cradle t' grave. Eee, them were the days.

MrsSpecter Wed 22-Jun-16 19:07:50

I saw a thread yesterday where a poster clarified in the OP (because she knew it would be asked) that she had asked parent of children she was supervising about allergies etc before feeding them and that the children were playing age appropriate games.

MN is no more. Its a different place now.

jayho Wed 22-Jun-16 19:11:12

oh fuck off you slaggy cunts

jayho Wed 22-Jun-16 19:11:33

(lighthearted)

MadameCholetsDirtySecret Wed 22-Jun-16 19:13:05

It has changed and not for the better sadly.

In fairness I have seen this happen on other forums as well. Perhaps it is how they evolve.

I miss cubes of poo, cutted up pear and your minge. 😓

YvaineStormhold Wed 22-Jun-16 19:13:40

Cunty cuntychops twattybadger knobjockey.

<lighthearted>

mrssmith79 Wed 22-Jun-16 19:18:04

I loathe Lighthearted with a passion. I'm going to start prefixing my threads with Really Fucking Deadly Serious Shit.

I also hate the way some smartarses dive upon the most tedious incidental detail of some posts and twist them into absolute bonkers nonsense.
I also hate how some posters are like the fucking Candyman and arrive on certain themed threads with alarming fucking predictability.
I never thought I'd hark for the good old days of a creepy yoni massage from Brian.

thedogdaysareover Wed 22-Jun-16 19:21:02

Oh don't worry, from a newbie's perspective there is still the odd occasion when you come across as a bunch of relentlessly cold-hearted bastards. Cheers to the fucken lot of you! wine

Take heart OP grin

jayho Wed 22-Jun-16 19:22:11

Actually, Honey, looking at your posting history you seem to have an issue with history. Thinking of a recent thread you posted on, you're displaying some worrying character traits.

^^ this is what I hate, the fucking forensic thread police.....

HoneyDragon Wed 22-Jun-16 19:37:29

Read jahos post three times

<head explodes>

Also is your name and intention ploy to get The Pussycat Dolls Jai Ho ear wormed firmly to all who read it?

Or is it just a happy cunty side effect?

HoneyDragon Wed 22-Jun-16 19:37:50

*An intentional

EatShitDerek Wed 22-Jun-16 19:39:50

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

jayho Wed 22-Jun-16 19:40:18

I love a happy cuntygrin

HoneyDragon Wed 22-Jun-16 19:43:14

Fuck me, if that's the case then owning Hullygully means I'm prepared for an small army of tiny drink Oliver Reeds and Brian Blesseds to stagger out my chuff into a shiny bright new dawn.
