Glass ill-fitting doors on hotel bathrooms

This seems to be a thing now. Frosted glass doors/walls in hotel bathrooms that offer little in the way of privacy/sound-proofing. I'm guessing that it means less space is needed, but not very romantic. Today's door has no lock and doesn't really fit so you can hear everything. We are using the communal loos for more contemplative moments (tmi). AIBU to want proper walls and doors?
