lower eye surgery

hi, i'm 47years old and just had my first (and last) cosmetic surgery. I had my lower eyelids done, I'm now on day 5 and feeling sorry for myself. Very bruised and swollen. I''m incredibly tired all the time, although the procedure was done under local and not gerneral.
Has anyone else experienced this and could share their story and hopefully give me some positive feedback
