Just that really. Don't care what way people vote, as long as they do. smile

Ooo, are we supposed to vote again soon?

What are we voting for??

ImNotJoeMyNameIsHarry Tue 07-Jun-16 17:41:07

I registered to vote last time and my card never came through. No idea where the pollING station is near me. Nice if it was clearer where to go. And don't get me strated on what happened the time before. Don't have I'D so not voting.

Register and select postal vote. I've always used postal as its so much easier.

KingJoff grin

Harry You don't need ID to vote, you just give your name. You can find out your polling station by googling.

ChippyMinton Tue 07-Jun-16 20:03:32

Your polling station will be stated on your polling card .

MrsJoeyMaynard Tue 07-Jun-16 20:07:48

I've got a polling card in the post.

That means I'm registered to vote, right?

lifesalongsong Tue 07-Jun-16 20:12:09

If you've already got a polling card you obviously don't need to register smile

Candypops14 Tue 07-Jun-16 22:52:37

Iv lost my polling card can I still turn up to vote?

StickTheDMWhereTheSunDontShine Tue 07-Jun-16 22:53:31

7 million not registered, apparently.

Already voted.

StickTheDMWhereTheSunDontShine Tue 07-Jun-16 22:55:08

Candy yes - they just need your name and address. All it will mean is that they take a little longer to find you and tick you off their list. (might be worth taking a credit card or bill as ID)

ImNotJoeMyNameIsHarry Tue 07-Jun-16 23:03:57

I did that. I was 18 and got told to "move along so the adults could vote" the wouldn't believe that I was old enough.

ImNotJoeMyNameIsHarry Tue 07-Jun-16 23:05:27

My polling card hasn't come through. We got a lot for the empty flat underneath us though. 5 people in one bedsit. Bit suspicious.

504 Gateway timed out half way through trying to register online

I haven't received my polling card either, DH has, just checked the website and it says if I voted in the GE then I will be registered, which I did.

Meant to sort this out earlier, Bollocks.

You don't need your polling card to vote... You just tell them your name and street name. I've never been ID'd either!

I'd still try to chase this up tbh, you've got a good reason why you missed the deadline

ChippyMinton Wed 08-Jun-16 18:30:01

Deadline has been extended by 48 hours, so still time to register.

notamummy10 Wed 08-Jun-16 18:45:52

People have whined about the extension and mentioned how it's going to ruin the 'remain' campaign and how it's a publicity stunt... hmm
