I think Evans is trying to be Clarkson and failing. There's no chemistry between him and Matt LeBlanc. It's boring.

Really disappointing - Le Blanc could be ok but Evans seems to be simultaneously trying to impersonate Clarkson yet be nice and non competitive with Matt. It's just odd

it's one of the Beeb's flagship shows, sold to trillions of counties worldwide, they weren't going to let it die.

It seems exactly the same as before. Lack of chemistry between the two of them but I suppose they don't know each other as well as clarkson and the others. The TG specials were the only things worth watching in the last few years.

I am actually quite enjoying it. I got fed up of the silly challenges clarkson et al were given and I felt for a long term it was living of its past reptuation.

I think the BBC have a difficult job. Ie. Keeping the essential elements of Top Gear, but making it fresh as well.

I loved the old top gear although it was t for everyone, it was one of the few programmes everyone sat and enjoyed and discussed after.
I think Leblanc is good and quite funny but Chris is insipid and trying to hard DD1 has called "pants" and walked out DD2 is now googling when the proper guys are releasing the Amazon version and DH has gone to sleep think that's a no then

I quite like it. I like Matt Le Blanc. I'm not missing Clarkson or Hammond who I think had got terribly tired. I like James May but think the "chemistry" between the old three was starting to get a bit strained and contrived. I'll still be giving their new show a go though.

We're loving it. DD has always liked it but couldn't bear Clarkson. We're all watching together and kids both pealing with laughter.

Wasn't sure how Matt LB would work but he's the best thing in it by a mile.
