We have got TWO fucking bathrooms!

Main bathroom is used by me and DDs. En-suite mainly by H. Not exclusively. There is no law or family rule banning anyone from using any of the bathrooms.

We have TWO bathrooms. TWO.

So why in the name of all that is sane, reasonable, holy, unholy and right, does fucking stupid H just barge in to the fucking bedroom to use the en-suite one when I am in bed? Whether I am asleep or not.

WHY? Why would you do that?

He works stupid hours so is in bed at 8 on week nights. Perhaps I'll start banging in to the fucking bedroom loudly at 9 and use the fucking SECOND bathroom. Even if the first one isn't being used. Just because I can. And I am a stupid, thoughtless, uncaring, loud fucker.

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp Sat 28-May-16 21:51:19

Poor bloke hmm

Creasedupcrinkle Sat 28-May-16 21:51:50

Leave the bastard. Separate bathrooms are the only way to a tolerable marriage.

lilydaisyrose Sat 28-May-16 21:53:00

I'm just jealous of your two bathrooms! I'm so fed up of being interupted mid shower/shite as a child/DH desperately needs the loo! But yes, I can see how that would be annoying!!

HermioneJeanGranger Sat 28-May-16 21:53:35

I don't get why you would go out of your way to disturb someone who was sleeping unless you really had no other choice.

LottieDoubtie Sat 28-May-16 21:53:46

Have you asked him that question? Possibly without calling him a fucker!

I feel your bathroom rage though. Except we only have one shock

ThroughThickAndThin01 Sat 28-May-16 21:54:05

confused

I'm with your Dh. I use our en suite.

TheWizardOfOs Sat 28-May-16 21:54:36

Poor bloke? Really?

You think it acceptable to bang into a room where someone is trying to sleep when there is a perfectly clean, usable toilet just 10 steps to the left?

Are you fucking insane??????

ThroughThickAndThin01 Sat 28-May-16 21:56:55

I think your insane Op

Creasedupcrinkle Sat 28-May-16 21:58:01

I cannot STAND being woken up. Especially by stupidity. He'd be in chunks in the bath if he did that to me.

TheWizardOfOs Sat 28-May-16 21:59:02

You ' re

I am insane with fucking rage.

Why would anyone think that it is ok to wake someone up unnecessarily? Again? (This is not the first time. It happens at least once a week. For 20 fucking years).

ThroughThickAndThin01 Sat 28-May-16 22:00:10

Ooh arent you the clever one.

Oh sorry.

Aren't.

TheWizardOfOs Sat 28-May-16 22:00:50

Yes. I am

shazzarooney999 Sat 28-May-16 22:01:13

Poor guy

ThroughThickAndThin01 Sat 28-May-16 22:01:35

Or. Perhaps not. Poor DH.

TheWizardOfOs Sat 28-May-16 22:02:38

Do you really think it is ok snazzy?

I am utterly amazed.

RJnomore1 Sat 28-May-16 22:03:08

Oh dear

If it makes you feel any better (it won't) we have three and there are four of us in the house and there are still fights about getting into the bathroom.

Yes he is being thoughtless. And I'm not pleasant if woken. Everyone else on here tonight is apparently a saint though. 😕

TheWizardOfOs Sat 28-May-16 22:03:12

Would you honestly not mind? Really?

hesterton Sat 28-May-16 22:03:19

Poor guy?

It is very inconsiderate. I assume op is venting rather than starting ww3 using sweartanks in her home.

CallMeDollFace Sat 28-May-16 22:04:42

What did he say when you asked him to please stop waking you up?

YokoWakarimasen Sat 28-May-16 22:04:46

OP, yanbu. You just want a bit of consideration - its not like he doesn't have a choice!

AgentZigzag Sat 28-May-16 22:04:57

People who are unnecessarily loud when they know full well someone's trying to get to/is asleep should be whipped though the street naked on a market day.

grin at poor bloke.

Aww poor him not even having the slightest understanding of how sleep works or how to be considerate to the person he lives with.

TheWizardOfOs Sat 28-May-16 22:05:20

It is beyond inconsiderate.

I am now not only awake but so fucking angry I can't go to sleep.

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp Sat 28-May-16 22:05:51

More fool you if you've landed yourself with someone who doesn't care enough about you to change. 20 years?

TendonQueen Sat 28-May-16 22:06:03

I'm assuming you've asked him why he does it (what does he say?) And told him you don't want him to do it? In that case go ahead and wake him up when he's asleep at least once a week. Or put a bolt on the door and use it.
