Got obsessed DP insists on naming one of our 2 girk kittens Stark Hmm

I thought it was Stark, after the Ben Elton book - I am so out of touch. I am no help , I like both names. Get one more kitten and use both names?

What are you on about?! It's a brilliant name! Grin

Why does he want to name her Stark? Is it a friend's name, or some book or movie character?

What's the other kitten's name?

Stark is a bit crap, but then so is Arya. I'd call it The Hound. T'would confuse people.

It's Game of Thrones related. I don't watch it but he bloody loves it. We agreed that we would name one kitten each but I have no idea what to call mine that would go with Stark!

Naturally if you have a Stark the other kitten should be Lannister!

Tully? Karstark?

Not Frey.

I hate matchy pet names. You should pick a name that's completely at odds with Stark like...........Agatha Del Froofroo.

I'm with EatShitDerek - I thought it was after IronMan too but then I don't want GOT so I guess that doesn't help - sorry.

If I got a cat I'd call it Chairman Meow.

She does have a look of doom about her so maybe Stark is apt....

Gorgeous cat! I think you'll grow to like the name. Eventually you won't be able to imagine her being called anything else.

YABU you agreed he could name a kitten. The names don't need to go together.

Pet names tend to get corrupted in our house. Millicent has become Millie, Millie Moo or Millie Pig (she's a guinea pig) . What if you are the same?

Imagine calling your cat in from the garden, Stark or Starkey or Starkers Grin Bet your neighbours will be Confused

Call yours Grim or Bleak Grin
