First time I have posted on AIBU...

Just got home from a week away to find several photocopied drawings of random images posted through my door in a plastic transparent wallet.

No note. No writing on them. DH away for work and I'm alone freaking out with my 4 month old. Thought they might be advertising but too random and no message.

They look like adult's drawings and they are of the following

Any ideas?

Odd very odd

I know, I have one weird neighbour but this is pretty strange

Could it be a mistake ? Could someone have posted them through your door by mistake - I have no idea why but I'm curious ......

My friend (who I called) thinks it might be something to do with the college at the end of my road - maybe a student dropped them and someone posted them through the closest door. It's a theory but it's not helping me get any sleep

Ooo, show us.

Could it be one of those Big Fat Quiz style things where you guess the celebrities name by the pictures.

For example - waterproof coat, old pub, wheel = McIntyre.

Have never posted images before

I wouldn't be freaked out. Just a bit confused. I'd probably put them in a plastic wallet and leave them out the front with a note saying 'posted through my door in error please take if you are intended recipient'

Oh my I had a fright then. My DDs have been posting things through the neighbours doors today but thankfully it was warnings about wearing sun cream now it is getting warmer and don't crash your car or you will be fined!

It could be that someone has posted them through the wrong door and didn't put in a note as they were expected.

They are coming out really dark because I'm trying not to wake up the baby with the flash!

Thegirlthatwanted2begod Mon 16-May-16 00:02:24

I find them quite creepy, sorry I know that's not much help

Mitchell50 Mon 16-May-16 00:03:26

Yes they just seem like a strange collection to be posting to someone - even if they are intended for someone else. And definitely not done by children and colour copied which is even stranger

Mitchell50 Mon 16-May-16 00:04:39

Definitely creepy...even in normal lighting

HippyHippopotamus Mon 16-May-16 00:04:45

Even more creepily, the images aren't showing on my screen!

Mitchell50 Mon 16-May-16 00:06:06

I was going to ask my neighbours if they had any too but they are all asleep

FannyFifer Mon 16-May-16 00:11:31

They've just been posted through the wrong door, don't be worrying.

I thought at first you meant a different one each day getting posted through.

But posted all together, just a mistake.

wickedlazy Mon 16-May-16 00:11:33

Maybe intended for someones niece/nephew/similar young relative, and posted through wrong door? Someones new partner agreed to drop them off, and doesn't know they got the wrong house? Or from one teenager to another, they got right number/wrong street?

Yy to posting them, and we can tell you if they're creepy.

Mitchell50 Mon 16-May-16 00:11:46

Worth ringing 111 or is that a bit over the top?

Arfarfanarf Mon 16-May-16 00:12:57

Over the top.

Mitchell50 Mon 16-May-16 00:13:51

Have posted a couple below but perhaps they are not showing up?

wickedlazy Mon 16-May-16 00:14:58

111 will have zero interest in some drawings posted through wrong door. Unless they're threatning.

wickedlazy Mon 16-May-16 00:15:17

They aren't showing.

APlaceOnTheCouch Mon 16-May-16 00:15:46

Yy that would be over the top. It sounds as though someone posted them through the wrong door.

FirstWeTakeManhattan Mon 16-May-16 00:16:07

Sounds like a mistake. I wouldn't worry OP.

Mitchell50 Mon 16-May-16 00:16:25

Yeah you're probably right Arfarf...

What am I going to say? 'Hello is that the police? I'd like to report some remedial drawing with colouring outside the lines and a poor use of shading'
