Hi all. I may totally be pfb here so totally prepared to be told so but just wanted some opinions.

DD3 is starting nursery tomorrow, she's very excited. My niece, also goes to the same nursery and they are only 4months apart in age. 95% of the time they get on amazingly BUT as they are very close they also argue like siblings and make up 5mins later. We have gone to the nursery maybe 4/5 times just to get familiar and stayed for around 40mins everytime and everything went well apart from the last time. My niece is lovely but can be very dominating and bossy and my DD is very sensitive and the last time we went DD saw a mutual little friend and DN told DD that they couldn't be friends etc etc DD was really upset and now I feel very anxious that this will be a reoccurring issue. Will she toughen up? AIBU to worry so much? Thanks!!!

I have two Dc close in age, who going on age should have been in the same nursery room at various points, but which the nursery kept separate so that they could get used to be not being so reliant on each other. However your DC and DN are a lot closer age wise grin The nursery will be used to dealing with exactly this sort of thing and should handle it. If you are still worried, mention it to nursery.

Nursery will plan and accommodate for this-try not to worry.
We have the same at childminders with DD3 and DN, there are 3 months between them and they argue like an old married couple grin Not been one issue since he started, she's been there a year.
She'll be great flowers

Thanks you've both made me feel a lot better about it. I rang the nursery and just as expected they said they were very used to dealing with this and that it was already all noted!!
