Friends DD was playing with two other girls, who were laughing at her (they were dancing.) Friends DD didn't notice.

Friend told the mum of the other girls to 'tell those red haired little shits to keep away from my daughter!'

Who am I meant to be those who think it's a reverse?

Waltermittythesequel Sat 30-Apr-16 19:32:17

I'm assuming the red haired little shits are yours?

Horrible thing to say.
Horrible for the children to be laughing at someone, if was done nastily as opposed to just general laughter.

Arfarfanarf Sat 30-Apr-16 19:32:59

Several people were in the wrong.

The children for being unkind and the woman for being insulting.

MarthaCliffYouCunt Sat 30-Apr-16 19:33:08

The dickhead obviously.

Missilemiss Sat 30-Apr-16 19:33:12

Er no I don't have any children confused

Waltermittythesequel Sat 30-Apr-16 19:34:11

What's with the confused face, OP?

It's not unusual for people to assume you are somehow involved in this since you're posting about it.

Missilemiss Sat 30-Apr-16 19:35:35

Yes, I was involved in that, I was there, it involved my friends child, but I don't understand the 'reverse' comments or more accurately I don't understand who I'm meant to be if it was a reverse, which it isn't.

WellErrr Sat 30-Apr-16 19:35:57

Well, she was only BU for the 'red-haired' comment.

Fair game for the rest, it must be awful seeing your child being laughed at.

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp Sat 30-Apr-16 19:37:50

Oh how dull!

Buckinbronco Sat 30-Apr-16 19:38:40

Well red haired isn't bad in itself, it's not liking saying keep those ginger mingers away or something.

Referring to Their hair colour specifically in those circumstances is a bit odd though

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost Sat 30-Apr-16 19:43:47

Your friend is the one in the wrong. Fighting over kids is fuckin bat shit crazy anyway. The kids are speaking 2 minutes later.
I'd personally describe your friend as very abusive and threatening.

Missilemiss Sat 30-Apr-16 19:46:28

Don't post on it then, MumOnTheRun! confused

CombineBananaFister Sat 30-Apr-16 20:02:03

kids for laughing, other mum for being derogatory about the red haired girls. But in the big scheme of things kids can sometimes be shits and should be told off. Adults should know better.
I have a little ginger ninja - pisses me off that his hair colour is fair game for insults but thats another thread. he looks awesome though, red hair, blue eyes wink

Waltermittythesequel Sat 30-Apr-16 20:13:46

Your friend sounds a bit rough.

witsender Sat 30-Apr-16 20:15:50

Mate sounds rough, the laughing daughters sound mean.

TimeToMuskUp Sat 30-Apr-16 20:17:07

Children can be forgiven (and reminded if necessary) for rude comments as they're not always aware of society's rules and regulations. Adults who are openly rude about children, however, are assgaskets. They know the rules but flout them when their DCs are upset.

Children need reminding to be kind and sensitive to the feelings of others because they don't fully comprehend (or care about) empathy. What's the adult's excuse?

Goingtobeawesome Sat 30-Apr-16 20:46:28

You are SERIOUSLY asking who was in the wrong? hmm

Missilemiss Sat 30-Apr-16 21:27:02

As far as I can see, one mum was justifiably angry.

However name calling and abuse isn't on, so ...
