We buy green top from various places over the week and despite what do thinks. it doesn't not taste the same.

Some taste very watery, other brands taste much nicer.

DP can't understand it and doesn't taste it but the dc know, dd often won't drink it if it's not the right brand!

All tastes the same to me I'm afraid.

YANBU. The local milk tastes awful during the winter when the cows are indoors and not feeding on fresh grass.

YANBU, we get blue top and that varies too!

Yanbu, I was thinking the same thing a few days ago.

Organic milk is nicer. I have almond milk now due to lactose intolerance.

Tastes the same to me.

Maybe you're a supertaster

There is a small tolerance in the level of fat that can be blue/red whatever top, plus corn or grass fed can all make a difference.

YANBU

We gave up having Organic milk as it was just too creamy.

We have a couple of pints in glass bottles and they still have the cream on the top...OH saves it for my first coffee

I think organic milk tastes nicer. I even converted DH and he isn't one to be swayed easily.

Yanbu, cravendale is my favourite but I can't afford it at the minute so I stick with asda green top, I'm a big milk drinker, and it's lovely! Corner shop, local farm, Aldi etc milks do taste different to me and I can use them on cereal but not as a drink Confused maybe I'm odd but I notice a difference.

I always get Organic. Can't drink any other now, I was surprised at how much of a difference in taste there actually was.

YANBU

I buy red top in a glass bottle from the milkman.

If I run out and have to buy any kind of milk in a plastic bottle from the supermarket, I can add it to my tea/coffee but I can't drink a glass of it.

Even my Soya milk tastes different Grin

WholeBean for coffee
Original or Simply Mild for cereals

When I first moved to England from Ireland nearly 20 years ago, English milk tasted very watery compared to Irish, and I'm talking full fat milk here. I'd forgotten all about this, until this thread.

Try tesco pure, it's almost identical to Cravendale but cheaper

I had some milk bought from a cheap corner shop and it tasted so strange!

Aldi milk is rank! I'd rather have black tea!

I like the extra filtered milk, cravendale or the supermarkets one. I really can taste the difference on my cereal but not in my coffee.

I just checked out that supertaster link and the list of common foods - with the exception of mushrooms that my bloody list of things I don't like - just self diagnosed then.

With it being all about the gin at the moment I feel a bit of an oddball when I say just can't drink it. I was never sure though whether it wa sthe gin or the tonic - they are both on the list!

We much prefer organic semi-skimmed. Normally from Sainsburys. Tastes so much nicer when drinking it by the huge glass full. We get through so much.

Cravendale is much nicer.
I like it because it lasts longer and I can get all my milk on my weekly delivery.

Avonmore in Ireland is lovely.
