It's very sad that her life has gone that way and she has so little self worth sad

That's not sad to me. Bit pathetic but not sad.

TheGhostOfBarryFairbrother Mon 25-Apr-16 18:07:32

Um yes it's sad but pop over to the health and bereavement boards on here to get some perspective...

Palomb Mon 25-Apr-16 18:07:36

I couldn't even be bothered to read it all.

YABU

1. For posting it here
2. For the content. It's sad but not the saddest thing personal stories.

How did she manage not to pop those blisters though

Ipigglemustdie Mon 25-Apr-16 18:11:00

Envy you if that's one of the saddest story's you've read.

Creampastry Mon 25-Apr-16 18:11:12

You need to read more.

donajimena Mon 25-Apr-16 18:11:14

Think before you ink... no its not sad.

MorrisZapp Mon 25-Apr-16 18:12:20

Former boarding school kid regrets boyfriend related tattoos.

Laser removal is unpleasant.

Blimey, if that's the saddest thing you've ever heard you obviously haven't heard any Adele songs.

gymboywalton Mon 25-Apr-16 18:13:30

these are among the saddest stories i have read

theatuscandal.wordpress.com/

please read and realise how privileged that woman is

AlleyCatandRastaMouse Mon 25-Apr-16 18:16:15

I actually love the cover up tattoos she has. I would not personally get a tattoo but hers are nice. I certainly don't think I could withstand the laser removal.

I don't click on blogs linked on Mumsnet. I never think it is an innocent posting - just click bait, pure and simple.

weirdsister Mon 25-Apr-16 18:19:41

I'm wondering whether publishing photos of the tattoos that you want to forget on the www is really a good idea.

wombattoo Mon 25-Apr-16 18:19:53

One of the saddest stories you've read? confused

Kelandry Mon 25-Apr-16 18:27:38

I really love the tree skeleton one!

CoteDAzur Mon 25-Apr-16 18:29:49

Saddest story you've ever read? hmm

Are you aware that children have been drowning in makeshift boats as their families flee war zones?

MajesticSeaFlapFlap Mon 25-Apr-16 18:30:19

She lead a privileged life and got a few shit tats that shes got lasered.

My heart bleeds, we should set up a charity in her honour

MsBojangles Mon 25-Apr-16 18:33:07

I can only assume that the OP is very young with little life experience if that's one of the saddest things they've ever read.

Or maybe it's actually the self absorbed tattoo girl herself...

expatinscotland Mon 25-Apr-16 18:33:27

Let me break out my violin. Oh, wait, I need my magnifying glass.

derxa Mon 25-Apr-16 18:37:16

Poor wee soul

Mrscaindingle Mon 25-Apr-16 18:37:36

No it's self indulgent and she needs to stop navel gazing and looking for her self worth in relationships.

I actually can't believe this is the saddest story you have ever read hmm

PPie10 Mon 25-Apr-16 18:37:42

Sad? Oh please. If she was stupid enough to tattoo every guy she was with its her own fault. You really need to step out into the world to find perspective about what sad really is.

manicinsomniac Mon 25-Apr-16 18:38:16

Nah. It's certainly personal (not quite sure why she'd want that plastered over the national press?!) but it's not all that sad. I mean it is sad but it's not unusually so. I could write a sadder story about myself and I'd say my life has been pretty average in the sadness stakes so far.

I feel for her, though. She hasn't had things easy and I'm glad she's doing better.
