AIBU?

To serve Deliciously Ella with wooden spoon in it

Making the chia and nut cookies, and I was shoving it all down in the processor. Well, the wooden spoon caught and now about 1/8 of it is missing in the mixture.

Aibu to cook it anyway on the basis that it could possible be mistaken for a hard date or something, and Sod's law mean mum will get any unwanted inclusion in a foodstuff anyway..... .? Or does that not work if you actually want to be the one to get it?

From what I've heard of her recipes, it might actually improve it.

Based on what I've seen of her recipes it will be an improvement.

I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure a splinter in your throat would not be confused with an undercooked date.

Just chuck it out and go buy a packet of Maryland.
