AIBU?

Bulk buying shampoo etc

DH appears to be physically unable to be within spitting distance of a pound shop without 'nipping in' for shampoo/ conditioner/ baby wipes/ loo roll/ delete as appropriate. All very helpful, except we live in a TINY house with NO storage and it is a complete pain to find places to put it. I'm not talking TV program level intervention, but maybe ten bottles of shampoo, for example. And never checking to see what we need before buying.

Anyway. WIBU to start storing the overflow in his wardrobe til he gets the message?

YANBU
But... are you sure he'd notice it there?
My DH doesn't open cupboard doors. He 'stores' all his stuff on the countertop so assumes we all do the same and is genuinely surprised when I open the door or drawer and display everything he's bought... currently only running at 8 bottles of shower gel, but today he came home with enough kitchen roll to paper a house with and was then surprised when I showed him the 14 rolls already in the (tiny) kitchen cupboard. I think he'd just ignore it in his wardrobe.

Yabu, store it in his pillowcase or on his side of the bed, or in his spot on the sofa so he has to physically move it to sit down.

Men don't go in wardrobes Grin

Could you give it to your local food bank?

All excellent suggestions. Glad I'm not alone.

Bloody DH and his squirrel tendencies (and those weird little piles of change and screwed up receipts he deposits on random surfaces; and his TOTAL inability to wash up cutlery; and, and... Confused Grin)
