Oh my god Honey I am ROFL here! grin

Tell him you need toilet paper next time he goes out - works for my husband at least....

HoneyDragon Tue 05-Apr-16 12:37:10

Would you like some to mop your tears up Grays?

Spike his food with something that gives him the runs and then at least the stocks will go down a bit.

Throwingshadeagain Tue 05-Apr-16 12:37:56

ha ha love it! My dh is kind of the opposite and thinks we are fine for loo roll if we are down to our last two rolls in a household of five people!

Ratbagcatbag Tue 05-Apr-16 12:38:07

Feed him laxatives for a couple of weeks, bonus is you'll use up lots of toilet rolls and he won't be able to get out to buy more grin

MsMims Tue 05-Apr-16 12:38:55

That's so funny! Why does he do it?!

Kelandry Tue 05-Apr-16 12:40:35

Built a fort with them.

HoneyDragon Tue 05-Apr-16 12:40:51

The laxatives won't work .... We still have 28 tins of beans left. He tried to buy more of those but I put my foot down.

I assumed he would've realised we were OK for toilet roll.

I think you have just explained the loo roll grin

Floralnomad Tue 05-Apr-16 12:46:59

We always have a toilet roll mountain in our house ,is that unusual ?

SantasLittleMonkeyButler Tue 05-Apr-16 12:47:23

My H is the opposite. He is perfectly capable of using the last of something and then "not realising" that we have no more magically hidden somewhere.

I'm not sure which is worse! Do you get through a lot of beans? confused

pepperrabbit Tue 05-Apr-16 12:52:16

We're clearly married to the same man smile
I dread him "popping to Costco", we have roughly the same amount of loo roll as you, with a like amount of kitchen roll - the type where each sheet is the size of a tea towel, plus an industrial catering size of foil - it has to live on the side as it's too big for any cupboard or drawer hmm
Took me months to consume 24 tins of tomato soup after I mentioned in passing that I fancied some.
I did point out that the truly enormous vat of jam and bucket of honey he came home with made us look like we were from Lilliput at breakfast.
He can't help himself.

pepperrabbit Tue 05-Apr-16 12:53:38

Oh and the day he brought home 12 boxes of pantyliners cos they were on "spesh"

HoneyDragon Tue 05-Apr-16 12:55:35

Dh is a pop to Costco man. Bloody Costco

NeedACleverNN Tue 05-Apr-16 12:56:16

Chuck some this way. We will take a few hundred off your hands

DixieNormas Tue 05-Apr-16 12:56:31

I wish mine would buy more toilet roll

cozietoesie Tue 05-Apr-16 12:59:56

My mother would read up on international economic issues to obtain advance warning. 'Problems in Ceylon' anyone? (Arrival of a very large amount of tea.)

wowfudge Tue 05-Apr-16 13:01:48

How about a yard sale?

BarbaraofSeville Tue 05-Apr-16 13:01:57

Costco is one of the cheapest places for decent toilet roll by far and they often have it on buy one get one free but you have to buy dozens of rolls at a time.

As long as you have space to store it, I suppose it's better than buying it as and when at the local corner shop at four times the price.

IamtheZombie Tue 05-Apr-16 13:02:21

Zombie loves living alone. On the extremely few occasions when the shopping goes a bit wrong, it's no one's fault but her own. Being a big grown up Zombie, she owns her errors. grin
