Sorry if this is a bit nerdy but I am so pleased with this purchase that I have to tell you how good it is. I mean how many times do you buy something and it doesn't just meet your expectations but actually exceeds them?

I bought one of these Karcher pressure washers and used it for the first time today to clean the patio. OK so there were a couple of false starts with me not attaching the hose correctly at either end so first it shot off the tap and then when that was secure it all poured out the other end over the machine and DH shouted and got all worked up about how I would electrocute myself getting so much water on something electrical.

However, once it was properly put together and connected it was AWESOME! In less than an hour the patio and all the paths were beautifully clean and it is just so much fun to use. I want to do the drive next. Then the cars. Then I might have to start again unless I can find something else to wash.

For some reason I can't stop humming the Ghostbusters theme when I use it...

My dad brought me one off these, no matter how tempting it is do not use it inside the house! Grin.

A friend posted video of him cleaning grey aged wooden garden furniture back to new-looking brown wood. Does that give you more to do?!

Ignore Honestly I never considered using it inside. Oh my! Please tell me you didn't.

Million Actually we have got an old bench, iron frame and wooden seat that is in a bit of a state so I could have a go at that. It is a bit rickety so might possibly fall to bits but if so it is no loss. Right it's on the list.

No I was tempted to use it on my oven as my all singing and dancing steamer just didn't cut it. Thank god I googled before

If you really want messy wet fun, the big industrial Karchers we use on HGVs are fantastic.

(sulk) I thought this would be about a big drill or angle grinder at least.

lljkj and OldCrow have you ever used one of these things? If so you surely know what fun they are and why I am so pleased with it.

Disgrace any jobs going at your place?

I happen to love how clean my power washer gets the patio, too, I do understand, really.

But the scream of a good angle grinder... nothing to beat it!!! Grin

5foot5 We have a diesel powered industrial power washer which would remove the toes from your feet.

I Karchered our decking last summer wearing flip-flops and accidentally ran over my big toe with the jet, it cut the skin and that's just a normal household one, I dread to think of the damage an industrial one could do.
