Hi smile
I have lurked on mumsnet for months (years!) and love reading AIBU but never post. I constantly worry that whatever I write will be misinterpreted due to my own anxiety sad Finally brave enough to say hello and Happy Easter! tbusmile

AgentZigzag Sun 27-Mar-16 23:11:38

YANBU to worry about AIBU misinterpretation but YABU to pluck up the courage to post and then only say hello grin

Either make a dilemma up or embellish one of your own, whichever's easiest.

Welcome to Maui! wine

CockacidalManiac Sun 27-Mar-16 23:13:21

Yes, just pick a topic and jump in. When it comes down to it, we're all just randoms on the Internet.

CockacidalManiac Sun 27-Mar-16 23:15:01

And chronic misunderstanding is part of the fun of AIBU.

Ok grin...AIBU to refuse an easter egg of my own due to being on slimming world and then hope that my DH shares his egg

WorraLiberty Sun 27-Mar-16 23:15:52

Welcome to Maui!

<< Dies a little bit with laughter >>

CreepingDogFart Sun 27-Mar-16 23:16:12

YANBU

CockacidalManiac Sun 27-Mar-16 23:16:38

YABU. You are literally worse than Hitler.

There, that wasn't too bad, was it?

WorraLiberty Sun 27-Mar-16 23:16:57

YANBU at all.

Everyone knows someone else's Easter egg is always calorie free.

In exactly the same way someone else's chips are.

OneDayIWillBeOrganised Sun 27-Mar-16 23:17:02

Worra it's probably more like years!.. don't know how to do strike through yet though.

OneDayIWillBeOrganised Sun 27-Mar-16 23:18:12

Don't know how to make names bold either grin

AgentZigzag Sun 27-Mar-16 23:21:18

Don't wait for your DH to offer to share FFS!

Eat, enjoy, then deny, deny, deny.

Did your DH not get you an egg then?

Has he always been like that?

<starts sowing seeds of discontent>

CreepingDogFart Sun 27-Mar-16 23:21:58

No egg? LTB

WorraLiberty Sun 27-Mar-16 23:22:39

If you eat half of his egg, that means it's only half the calories.

If it's only half the calories, that means you can eat twice as much.

You're welcome.

OneDayIWillBeOrganised Sun 27-Mar-16 23:27:12

Eat, enjoy, then deny, deny, deny
I do this every week at SW, maybe that's why I'm not getting any slimmer!
He did ask but I said I didn't want one regrets decision

CockacidalManiac Sun 27-Mar-16 23:29:03

Tsk, bloody women. It's like 'I don't want any chips', then eats mine.

OneDayIWillBeOrganised Sun 27-Mar-16 23:30:33

worra that's exactly the sort of advice I've come to value from mumsnet grin
Think I've got the hang of bold and Strike through too! never pressed those little buttons before

OneDayIWillBeOrganised Sun 27-Mar-16 23:31:54

CockacidalManiac
Not guilty of that one. I never refuse chips!tbuwink

BibbtyBobbityFeckOff Sun 27-Mar-16 23:35:08

I hate easter - I'm lactose intolerant.

I hope you choke on your half calorie egg.

shockwink

I had to buy my vegan daughter one of those Moo Free eggs. She'd be better off eating the box.
