Lovely, but does a house really need an en-suite for every room and no family bathroom??

Paintedhandprints Sun 27-Mar-16 13:17:28

Bnb or student accom.

BillSykesDog Sun 27-Mar-16 13:19:04

It looks like it was/is a B n B.

we brought a house with sinks in the bedrooms. very easy to block the pipes off and remove. we left the pipework in place in case we ever wanted to put in an ensuite in one of the rooms or when we eventually sell up it might appeal to the new people.

What an eensy weensy kitchen!

Trills Sun 27-Mar-16 13:46:57

Don't understand what being terraced has to do with it?

LottieDoubtie Sun 27-Mar-16 13:47:13

It has got a family bathroom? And a reasonably sized kitchen, the small rooms the utility.

Looks like a BnB to me too!

mummymeister Sun 27-Mar-16 13:48:22

thanks Penny!! I always make spelling mistakes when I am hungry. need to eat a banana before I post again. grin

It's relevant being a terrace because why would you want to take up space with en-suites if you have smaller rooms.

Pinkheart5915 Sun 27-Mar-16 13:50:05

I think it's a nice house, and those views. The 5 en suites are more than likely they use it as a B&B

miwelaisjacydo Sun 27-Mar-16 13:52:55

It's a B and B Tenby is a real seaside town. It's absolutely beautiful .

JasperDamerel Sun 27-Mar-16 13:55:56

But terraces aren't necessarily small at all.

Queenie73 Sun 27-Mar-16 13:57:32

I used to go to Tenby every week for swimming lessons when I was a nipper, it's a lovely place.
Do terraced houses always have smaller rooms than detached? I live in a detached hovel and my relatives have a huuuge terraced house in a city. Their house is much bigger than mine and have far more bathrooms. the rooms are bigger too, with lovely high ceilings. I'm not at all jealous, no Sir, not me.

Because B&B guests would almost always prefer a smaller bedroom with an en suite than a larger bedroom with shared facilities.

Stratter5 Sun 27-Mar-16 14:03:05

Wow that could be amazing, those views, I didn't know Tenby beach was so lovely.

XiCi Sun 27-Mar-16 14:10:18

There are some huge Georgian terraces near where I live. Terraced houses are not all smaller than semi detached or detached by any means. Surely that's obvious?
Also obvious that it is/was a b&b.
Not sure what the point of the thread is.

miwelaisjacydo Sun 27-Mar-16 14:11:38

strattee Tenby has two beaches and both are lovely and huge.

ClashCityRocker Sun 27-Mar-16 14:35:40

IT doesn't look like the bedrooms are too bad a size.

But yeah, deffo a B and B set up I think. Or at least it was at one point and it would seem odd to take out full en suites to make a bigger bedroom if the bedrooms are a reasonable size with them in.

Lovely house though...

DessertOrDesert Sun 27-Mar-16 14:36:02

Terraces don't have to be small!
for example, I've been in one similar to this and it was bladdy lovely! OK, so one small bedroom, but don't most houses have one room smaller than the rest?

AlisonWunderland Sun 27-Mar-16 14:41:44

I assume that there is a shop or something underneath it on the ground floor.
The floor plan looks like half the floor area consists of landings and stairs!
Wonderful views though!
