Oyster max but it's a double. When I only had one I used a silver cross but I didn't like it, difficult to steer, impossible to steer one handed and very flimsy feeling.

Bugaboo Chameleon 3 here. It's 14m into second child (older child used it almost daily until baby arrived when he was 2)

It's expensive but it's been worth its weight in gold. It will still probably get me a £100 or so when I sell it in a year or do.

I have a wayfarer and a baby jogger city mini gt. The wayfarer got used as an indoor rocking cot for nap time, which it was genuinely brilliant for. Very comfortable for DS so long as you don't push it over anything at all, not even a twig It's really lovely till you want to eeerrr push it anywhere using it as a pushchair then it's bloody useless. The baby jogger is one of our best 'baby purchases'.

Im 30 w but DD will be born by 34 latest, had about 10 buggies with Ds1 all were shit until I got to stroller stage got a petite star zia and a luna both of which were fine. With DS2 I drove so needs were different but had a giggle by cossatto and then a zia. Have kept the zia for when its needed and we are buying DD the giggle 2 in a different pattern when we get home with DD as we dont know how long she will be in nicu for. I live the price of the giggle and the way it handles, and their customer service is fab.

I have spent time working in a pram shop and I have 3 children so I have a bit of a pram obession! It started from having a silver cross dolls pram as child. I have had a bugaboo chameleon which I absolutely loved, I have had 2 actually as they are so good, I currently have the all black chameleon 3, I also have an orbit G3 at the moment and I love it, its also one of the few travel systems with two handles. I have had an Icandy peach London edition but I found it really clumpy and the wheels wear out so fast. The stokkes are also goods. The best strollers for everyday or occasional use are Maclarens by far, I have had a few. The pushchairs that I wouldn't touch with a barge pole are any made by Mothercare as they are unreliable and prone to breaking and the ones that always came in for repair were Quinnys, Silver cross wayfarers and any Cossattos!

The bugaboo is a travel system, you can add a maxi cosi car seat or a Britax/cybex car seat as you can buy adaptors. All the bugaboos are decent wether you choose the buffalo, donkey, bee or chameleon.

Yes you can, definitely! That's how most people use it until around 6 months.

My all time favourite though is the uppababy vista. Fab pram and great value for money. Will easily last two or three children and still look good.

Bugaboo Cameleon, and I had a foldy McClaren jobby which I got for travelling which I used more for my daughter when she was a toddler. Bugaboo was fab when they were actual proper babies, I love to be able to lie a newborn down properly for a day out. Equally it's handy to transfer the car seat onto it for a quick pop to the shops if they are asleep. Once they are toddlers and getting in and out the Maclaren was super easy.

Uppababy vista is great. You can add a car seat with adapters like a bugaboo. The basket is much bigger than the cameleon and you can also convert it to a double if you need to later

It depends on your lifestyle e.g city or rural, small boot or large boot, mostly walking or mostly traveling by car/public transport.

I had a Bugaboo Bee - I wanted something small, light and easy to manoeuvre on and off buses, trains, etc on my own, it was one of the only travel systems that didn't feel like a tank to me. Only problem is I had a giant baby so by one year old he was a bit big for it (the seat isn't very generous). So while I like the Bee for a young baby and found it easy to use and very good quality I now have a Mclaren buggy I bought second hand which is great. Still have the Bee for future DC though who will hopefully be smaller!

I'm using an out and about nipper 360 and I love it. For the first year I used an I candy apple though and I did love that too.

Cheap Graco one. It survived anything, public transport etc. my neighbour now has it for her DS and it's still going strong, it seems to be practically indestructible.

I have the Bugaboo Bee. Used with the cocoon or car seat from 0-1, and then as a stroller. My son is 3.4 now so doesn't get used as much. I also had the Quinny Zapp for my older child, that was also very good.

I use the oystermax too, but as a single. Bought it thinking ahead to the next baby but I think I'll swap it for one where the baby nearest the handles is higher up, and the baby at the front is lower down. Makes more sense that way.

Love it as a single, really sturdy, great wheels, really pretty, just love it!

We also have a Mamas&Papas umbrella stroller which we keep in the car (suitable from birth but we got it when he was 6 months ish)

Don't get an quinny. They are the Same width wheel wise as many doubles so too wide for places

Bugaboo or babyzen here. The babyzen yoyo is tiny if that suits or the babyzen yoga is great off-road

I think I must be the only person on mumsnet to have liked the wayfarer. I used it with my first who is 2.5 now, and use it with my second (8weeks) when I can (recently had to acquire a double since the toddler's a bit of a bolter). It looked comfy, weathered well, was easily collapsed and fitted into my then small car boot.

Maxi Cosi Loola Up (It was BebeConfort at the time, though).

I loved it. Parent or forward facing. Laid flat so no need for a carrycot. I didn't have the carseat which went with it but I think I would if I had it again. It folded umbrella style - not amazingly compact, but smaller than a lot of other parent facers (at the time - there might be something better out there now.) The suspension seemed comfy. The seat cover was reversible with a stay-cool fabric for summer and a cosy one for winter. It was also machine washable and dried really fast. The raincover zipped onto the hood.

Used from birth until about 3 years. I did have a compact one too but used both.

I currently have a bugaboo bee3, I love it. It's light and folds easily, manoeuvrable and has a big hood, decent shopping basket for a small pushchair. I don't like umbrella fold strollers and for me the bee is kind of a hybrid of a pram/pushchair and a stroller. I will be gutted when DS no longer needs the pushchair!
