But chuffed to bits because we at Mumsnet got it on there.

You'd think, given the amount of times Mr Wright calls us foul mouthed harridans that they'd check their screenshots.

Does bupcakes still exist? I haven't seen her post for donkeys.

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes Thu 10-Mar-16 18:45:30

There's a cunt on The Wright Stuff every morning.

DaphneWhitethigh Thu 10-Mar-16 18:46:24

Excellent, well done Buppers.

Why on earth did they put up such a lengthy bit of text anyway? I am pleased to say I'm not familiar with the works of Mr Wright. I thought they normally just ripped us off uncredited - I didn't realise they'd transformed their show into ReadAlongaMumsnet

That thread's from June 2012.

Surely we've had bunfights other threads on the subject more recently?

Queenbean Thu 10-Mar-16 18:50:41

This makes me bizarrely pleased grin

CaptainCrunch Thu 10-Mar-16 18:52:48

I'm a blind old gimmer, what does it actually say and why did it feature on the programme?

jimpam Thu 10-Mar-16 18:55:10

KingJoffrey good work grin

MymbleMother Thu 10-Mar-16 18:59:22

I might change my username to MatthewWrightIsACunt

WaitingForTheMan Thu 10-Mar-16 19:02:41

Sparklingbrook Thu 10-Mar-16 19:04:14

FFS he showed a 4 year old screenshot? confused

Why didn't they pinch this week's thread instead?

RafaIsTheKingOfClay Thu 10-Mar-16 19:06:10

Why on earth are they showing a thread that old though. Or was it linked to the similar one that has been on recently?

HoneyDragon Thu 10-Mar-16 19:07:42

Read Along with Mumsnet <dies> grin

We'd better stop using big words then, like

and fine.

Didn't his researcher think of the children? <goes off to find clutching pearls>

Sparklingbrook Thu 10-Mar-16 19:09:38

There was a thread this week in AIBU about someone going home because their pet died Rafa, so no idea why they didn't pick that.

Trollicking Thu 10-Mar-16 19:10:21

Mmm, there was another thread about taking time off work when pets die just the other day. Coincidence or not? hmm

HoneyDragon Thu 10-Mar-16 19:11:31

Because the researcher saw that thread and then obviously did an AS for a screen grab.
If only they'd read it [sincere sad face]

QueenCarpetJewels Thu 10-Mar-16 19:12:20

Whatever happened to Bupcakes?? Is she still here?

RafaIsTheKingOfClay Thu 10-Mar-16 19:13:11

That was the thread I was thinking of, Sparkling. I assumed it was that until I saw Buppers name and checked the date.

HoneyDragon Thu 10-Mar-16 19:14:25

Buppers did a dignified flounce. She remains awesome and haunts the social medias.

RafaIsTheKingOfClay Thu 10-Mar-16 19:14:58

She name changed. But I haven't seen her under that name for a while either.

Mind you it's lucky that's they only thread of hers they chose.

HoneyDragon Thu 10-Mar-16 19:16:03

Can we start a thread about the suitability of cornflakes cakes for charity bake sales and hope they quote her again?

DontBuyANewMumCashmere Thu 10-Mar-16 19:16:22

I'm only a noob (two years is still a noob isn't it...) and I recognise Bupcakes. Unless it's from Classics.
