It's supposed to be a joke. Like millions of others.

It isn't funny, it's bad taste but not worth getting chewed up over.

I've been in therapy two years finding my voice after forgetting I have one with my ex.

My poor dh does get a lot of flack as I'm still learning to both express and control my emotions but he would never tell me to stop. never being permitted to have emotions fucks you up big time

gamerchick - I can have a giggle at a 'nagging wife' joke, however, that one has quite a nasty undertone to it. I wouldn't be impressed if a friend posted that, though I don't think I'd unfriend. A good friend I'd say something to be honest.

My abusive ex shared this on Facebook.

People actually congratulated him on the 'joke'

It's pretty poor taste but not worth getting wound up for.

NOT a good message for abusive marriages though

horrible reactionary shite. We've moved beyond this (and MIL jokes) I would hope.

Reminds me of the family photo that recently went viral, where the females' mouths were taped shut.

Hahahahaha so hilarious. Hmm

I've heard this joke told at work....a few times. I just rolled my eyes. It's not funny, but I never take a joke seriously any way. I've laughed at some sick jokes in my time. I sometimes watch Frankie Boyle when I want to hear sick jokes.

ignoring things like this maintains the societal ignoring of domestic abuse.

it IS A horrific poster.

if it didn't say "I'm scared" it would be a "typical" nagging joke but adding fear takes it one step further.

awful Angry
