To think Madonna is being slightly out of order?

Probably going to get a flaming, but reading a news report this morning about the custody battle about Rocco, she doesn't seem to take her son's feelings into account at all. He is happy in school with his father, whereas she is on tour in various places around the world. The judge also condemned both Guy and Madonna for playing this out in public, when it could be resolved in private.

Madonna is just spoiled and like her own way

ugh, horrible for the son here

I think he is old enough to decide for himself. If one of my ten sons decided they wanted to live with their father I would be gutted but let them go. Why would you want you child to be miserable?

I don't think Guy Ritchie has played it out in public at all. Madonna is the only one who's been bringing it up all over social media. I think her demanding Guy was arrested because he wouldn't forcibly put Rocco on a plane is ridiculous too.

I think she's out of order demanding Rocco is sent to NY when she won't be there herself too. He's 15, he's old enough to say what he wants. The more this drags out the more obvious it becomes why Rocco doesn't want to live with her.

T h I haven't seen anything about GR playing it out in public. I probably just have missed it.

I think she is behaving appallingly. He is old enough to choose for himself.

I think given that he is 15 and there are no suggestions that his father is unsuitable she is wrong to pursue this. What if he was made to move to NY? He is going to be miserable and then ups ticks as soon as he legally can (16?, 18?). Surely she risks jeopardising any sort of long term relationship with him.

I actually think she is being very out of order.

I haven't seen anything public fromGR side either. He seems old enough to choose who he wants to live with. I don't understand why she would do this, in a year or so he will be old enough to decide never to see her again if she forces him now. Confused

She comes across really badly here. Massive control issues. He's 15 and doesn't want to be on tour...who can blame him. I thought at that age the kids could choose where to live. Considering her extreme food issues it's not a surprise he'd rather be where he can eat a burger.

If she's not careful he'll end up completely estranged and writing books about her!

Madonna is used to getting her own way, that's the centre of it.
At 15 Rocco's views and wishes should be considered. It's not like he'll be moving round the corner, it will be thousands of miles away, and to a largely absent parent.
I really hope he wins this.

At the end of the day we don't know anything about these people really. Maybe she has her reasons?

I feel for them as the teenage years can be awful.

I do think the grand gestures she is employing here are not the way to go.

I wish them all well.

I've not seen much from GR about it all either, just a pic of them on a bike ride together.

It might not even be a choice between her & GR, although of course it would feel like it, but a choice of lifestyles.

I guess that when they got divorced, Guy got very well paid for a custody arrangement that gave Madonna all rights to the kids until they turned 18 or so, and I imagine that is probably a lot to do with why she has brought this case.

Rocco at 15 should be able to decide who he wants to live with, I agree with poster above who said that if he is with her, he either has to go on the road with her or has to stay home with a nanny. So why not hang out with his dad if that is the case. I remember her documentary and she didn't come across as a very 'present' parent even when she wasn't touring.

He doesn't seem to want to live her life

And should be able to make that choice at his age. Her life style for some children would be very unsettling for others exciting

Madonna is just spoiled and like her own way

This. After spending thirty odd years in the spotlight and getting everything her own way she's finally up against someone her celebrity means jack shit to: her son. To him Madonna is mum, Guy Richie is dad.

Ah this explains the weird dream I had about Madonna the other night. We were walking to Aldi and she kept stopping to take selfies. I was getting really pissed off with her. I must have subconsciously been thinking about this story

None of us know what is really going on. All this anti-Madonna stuff is just a leetle bit sexist in my opinion. I'm sure she's a loving mother and I'm sure Guy Richie's ego is every bit as developed as hers.
