I've never really posted on here before but just wanted to solicite some advice /opinion.
My 18 month old dd goes to a nursery we think is great. They seem caring and attentive and she seems to enjoy being there (big hugs and smiles when she sees key workers etc). On Friday she lost her balance whilst she was trying to get something and fell and banged her head. She had a bit of a gash and had to have it glued at a&e, but I think we were more upset than she was!
So my question is how do you think we should approach this with the nursery? Do we chalk it up as one of those things that happens? Or should we be asking more questions? Like I said we do really trust them and my instinct is not to blame them in anyway. They dealt with it all brilliantly and were also very sorry it had happened.
I'm not the type to go in guns blazing, and don't instinctively feel like the situation needs that, but should I do something?
