They both lost interest & were too nosy to see what was going on elsewhere in the room.

Three weeks for both DDs. I literally ran out of milk at that stage each time.

I stopped first time when it felt right, will do the same again.

I breastfed exclusively until 4 months when we introduced solids, then still quite a lot until about 8 or 9 months when I went back to work. I still fed ds once a day most days after that, and definitely remember breastfeeding on his 1st birthday, but by then it was intermittent, maybe once or twice a week. I'd have liked to continue for longer but he completely lost interest eventually. He's 15 months old now and has point-blank refused to feed for a while. Doesn't say no to a roast dinner and dessert though....

Miss c I struggled to read your sentence (my fault, been up since half 4) and for some reason I thought you meant teeth were coming through in your breastmilk.

14 months, 12 months, 18 months and counting. DC1 & 2 were quite happy to stop, by DC3 is showing no sign of wanting to stop! I hadn't intended to get to 2 at all, but I expect we will now.

I struggled through with both because of some still undiagnosed health problems, developed mastitis twice with dc1 and the second time I decided it was time to call it a day. I was very happy breastfeeding dc2 but Had some problems with my colon and bowel that are still being investigated and after a lot of tests and bouts of illness I worried the quality of my milk would suffer, she stopped gaining weight.

I love breastfeeding and wish I could have done it for a lot longer, one of my proudest achievements.
