Birthday Surprise wwyd

My birthday is coming up and my partner has asked me to keep a certain evening free in a few weeks. It's supposed to be a surprise.

Our work/ personal calendars are shared so that we can keep track of what's going on in our lives. Anything that I put in my calendar appears in his and vice versa.
I was just going through the calendar for the next few months and can see that he's put the name of the show in the shared calendar with details and timings. I'm very excited because it's a aondbut I know he'd be gutted if surprise was spoilt. Do I tell him that I know?

I wouldn't let on that you know. You've got a few weeks to practice your surprised face!

Don't tell him.

When I was dating my now fiancé he got tickets for us to see Tim minchin at the Albert hall & told me to keep the date free but not what we were doing. A few days before I saw an ad for the show & guessed. I didn't say anything. On the night he had also booked us dinner at the posh restaurant at the Albert hall & we were in a box & it was all hopelessly wonderfully romantic. I didn't need to fake a surprise face because it was so much more than just the show. You might be getting more than that too. Even if you don't, I bet his excitement will be infectious.

What a lovely thing to do for you - enjoy!

A friend of mine wrote his girlfriends 30th surprise on the calendar... On their fridge!

Don't let on. And as a pp said, putting the name of a show in a calendar he must realise you can access if he thinks about it for more than a nanosecond may be a double bluff! If it IS the show you think it is, that's great, and if it turns out he's double bluffed you and it's something completely different, that's also great! Have a lovely time whatever it turns out to be OP.
