I was sat in the armchair with my e cig five minutes ago. And the bastard has grown legs and run away.

Ive moved the chair, checked the sides, checked my bag, checked the top of the radiator. Its gone!!!

Where has it bloody well decided to hide now

ive only had one vodka so im not drunk

It's run away with the scissors and tweezers.

gingerboy1912 Thu 21-Jan-16 21:12:29

It's hiding with the teaspoons, chuckling quietly whilst you search for it.

For years I blamed the DCs for missing things but they are now grown up and left yet things still vanish into thin air confused
I'm wondering if we have an acquisitive ghost!

Have you checked to see if the upholstery on the side of the chair (where the side of the chair joins the arm, if you see what I mean) has come loose?

Jo4040 Thu 21-Jan-16 21:15:03

Placemarking already. really need to get a life

I dropped my spare battery for my ecig in the car. I couldn't see it at all under the seats or anywhere. Six months later I got in the car and it just casually rolled out from under the passenger seat.

Fettuccinecarbonara Thu 21-Jan-16 21:17:39

Is it in your bra?

CountCunula07029 Thu 21-Jan-16 21:19:14

I swear to god im going bonkers

No loose upholstery. Ive literally picked the chair up with aid of my Dad and its not there.

eye starts nervously twitching from nicotine withdrawal

CountCunula07029 Thu 21-Jan-16 21:19:59

Fettucine- great minds, i do store it there occasionally grin but no sad

Darvany Thu 21-Jan-16 21:20:07

I hope you find it, that sort of thing drives me insane.

Technically, I've just lost one of my son's socks but I know it's shredded to bits in the washer filter but I'm too lazy to find it atm.

Most importantly, do you have a spare?

hesterton Thu 21-Jan-16 21:21:14

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

Darvany Thu 21-Jan-16 21:23:28

Get a Vamo V9. You'd soon notice if you accidentally sat on that grin

Sistedtwister Thu 21-Jan-16 21:30:51

I had a cat that used to pinch 'stuff' I wondered where the tea spoons were going. I found her stash in the attic there was:

£5.72 in change
A dozen hair bobbles
8 tea spoons
Loads of hair clips

She was most upset when I removed it.

CountCunula07029 Thu 21-Jan-16 21:31:24

Yes luckily i have a spare which is charging upstairs.

But this is driving me nuts. Ive checked under the armchair, sofa, tv stand, in the fire place and in the log basket.

Its sitting somewhere. Laughing. And mocking.

ChampaleSocialist Thu 21-Jan-16 21:34:50

What does a cat want with spare change and hair clips? confused

Have you checked the fridge? Thats where stuff ends up in our house.

Darvany Thu 21-Jan-16 21:37:56

Can they breed with Hexbugs do you think? shock

Fangs4themammaries Thu 21-Jan-16 21:42:09

The Borrowers, hoping for a steam engine.

Bolloxwhateva Thu 21-Jan-16 21:42:17

Did you go for a wee? Left it by the loo?

MummaV Thu 21-Jan-16 21:46:19

If I leave mine on the arm of the chair it has a habit of falling off and rolling under the chair. Or down the side, not visable under the cushion but actually down the gap in the side.

Or usually either sticking out of my top where I've sat it in my cleavage or in the roll between my still slightly wobbly mummy tummy and the top of my trousers!

I hope you find it soon! I know the irrational nicotine twitches of not being able to find it!

Bluebird79 Thu 21-Jan-16 21:49:14

Check along the skirting boards. It might have rolled.

CountCunula07029 Thu 21-Jan-16 21:52:00

I found it.

In the pocket of my hoodie

not at all ashamed-

NewYearSameMe Thu 21-Jan-16 21:52:05

When you settle down with the other one you will instantly find the lost one. It always happens.

CreviceImp Thu 21-Jan-16 21:52:56

Behind your ear?

Elliemayclampett Thu 21-Jan-16 21:53:42

Have you checked behind your ear? I once searched for a pencil for hours only to find it behind my ear!
