I have had my Fitbit from August and am very happy with it.

Or your own brain, which is free, a billion times more functional and advanced.

My brain is actually so advanced that it has better uses than to count the number of steps I take during the day.

OP, I have a Bellabeat Leaf that I really like.

It really depends on what you are using it for. Microsoft Band 2 works well with Windows based OS whereas Fitbit doesn't - may not be important if you are not using Windows Phone/tablet. Higher level models of Fitbit do similar things. Some minor differences eg. continuous heart rate on MS Band 2 rather than workout only HR monitoring on Fitbit. I would check out an online comparison of specific Fitbit models you are interested in with MS Band 2 and look at the features that are important to you. (I'm awaiting delivery of my MS Band 2)

I'm not convinced on these at all.

Why are they so good? My phone has a step counter but I turned it off as it was pretty rude. Would tell me to think about going for a walk. I do resistance training.
