AIBU?

Would it be ok to put bunting on a wall next to a cabin bed?

Dd is 7 and I've bought some fabric bunting to go on one of her walls. I never keep wires or anything or cords off blinds in her reach (she's very sensible but I'm paranoid!) Would it be ok to have bunting secured to the wall within her reach?

Well you could, but I wouldn't with a child that age.

I wouldn't, but then I'm massively paranoid, having read of terrible accidents. I wouldn't have anything near it that they could pull, fall against or through.

Yeah there's another wall I can put it on but you won't be able to see it the same I bought it to brighten up the room a bit but I'd rather be safe than sorry!!

Could you hang it round the cabin bed instead? Loop it over the sides so it can't really be taken off?

Just do it with tiny tacks that would hold nowhere near a child's bodyweight.

Thanks everyone, decided to put it on another wall to save me worrying about it. It looks brill and dd is really pleased with it Smile

It would be fine. What do people imagine could happen with it?
