A copy of 'Gut - the body's most underrated organ' by guilia Enders. Present from my uni student DD. It was on my list.

I've nearly finished it already! It's so interesting.

Who knew organs could be underrated grin

Glad you enjoyed it.

A card saying " you are alright I won't kill you this year"

All hand written by my son

My partner's seems to be the Sooty DVD I bought for him and our young son to watch together. Child is fast asleep, grown man has been watching the whole thing alone (and far too over-excited in his reactions!).

'Hogfather' book from my brother. Or maybe the cake mover (one of those round spatula thingys you see on GBBO) from my cousin.

SpaggyBollocks Sun 27-Dec-15 13:39:22

my dad made me a spice rack. and stocked it.

I think it will change my life.

aquashiv Sun 27-Dec-15 13:44:11

One of my sons made me a picture frame with a picture of the children.

My mum and dad got me a kitchen aid. I'm still shocked. I was shopping with her back in the summer and we saw them in John Lewis, I mentioned that I'd love one, but could never justify the money.

I do a lot of baking and have recently worn out my hand mixer. But talk about unexpected! I'm waiting for dc1 to make an appearance at the moment (6 days till my due date) so hopefully I'll get some time while I'm on mat leave to do some baking!

My in laws got me a collection of vouchers to treat myself once baby has arrived which was very sweet of them.

Well, the choice is between a box of liquorice allsorts and a kindle paper white, bought to replace my ancient kindle keyboard. I think the kindle just has it wink

HoggleHoggle Sun 27-Dec-15 13:48:06

My new slippers. It's the small things!

Also, unlike seemingly everyone else on the threads I'm reading, I've been really chuffed with all the smellies I've got.

Record player so I can listen to my mum and dad's -they are both deceased - old record collection (and build my own). Dh doesn't do thoughtful gifts often but when he does he is awesome.

EverythingisonmyMurtaughlist Sun 27-Dec-15 13:55:14

Oh and my millions of smellies grin

originalmavis Sun 27-Dec-15 14:01:55

Lurleene Sun 27-Dec-15 14:08:25

Mine was a charity gift - Polio Vaccinations for 100 children. I had said that I didn't really want anything as I am drowning clutter, and as my Mum is disabled due to having polio as a child it was a gift that meant a lot.

y0rkier0se Sun 27-Dec-15 14:11:53

My favourite is my new Liz Earle face cleany things and a new electric toothbrush - I feel so clean when I go to bed grin

There's a photo of me and dp, it was taken in a photo booth, one of the ones where you get 4 different photos.

The position of our heads and my arm makes a heart shape, it's my favourite photo of us. My mum had it printed onto canvass. It means so much to me and was such a thoughtful gift. I may have shed a tear or two when I received it.
