AIBU?

To hate my massive canoe feet?

I'm a size 9, sometimes size 9 wide fit, and I bloody hate it. I'm not on a large income so my shoes are always £20 and under - I can never find them in charity shops and in the shops I can find the size in they're narrow/really high.

Just needed to rant because I'll be damned if I can find a nice pair of every day black flat shoes in a size 9 for £20 or under in the sales. I just wish I was a standard 7/8 so badly. It also means if I ever had the money for luxury shoes no designer bloody caters for my kayak feet.

I'm the same as you. Is there a wyndsors near you? They often have 9s for less than £20. Think you can get them from the website too. I got some lovely Clark's shoes in the sale ... They are school shoes and they cost me a tenner Grin

Check this site out. Not loads of styles in your size (but a few pairs of flat blacks!) and they are very cheap, quality is usually OK and they get new stuff in regularly. Smile

I wear a ladies' size 12 US which is a UK size 10. I find shoes at Payless, but I don't know if you have the equivalent there. Have you tried Zappos.com?

I got a lovely pair of black leather flats, but they are Tieks, considerably more than $20.

Have you tried new look? I'm a size 8 wide fit and find their shoes to be fantastic quality! I'm not sure how to do links and make them all fancy but hopefully this works.

Me too OP, I hate them, but shoe hopping is better than it used to be.

Same here, size 9 in round toe shoes, size 10 in pointed shoes.

I usually buy from Brantano or Marisota...

8 wide and agree new look is great. I very rarely even look for shoes anywhere else now.

I'm the opposite...a UK 2! I have to buy heeled boots in a 3 @nd wear really thick socks with them. It's either that or Hello Kitty high-tops! Grin
