Ds2 6 is fast asleep, ds1 is 9 and wide awake, he is at the stage where he believes and does not...

I haven't even wrapped a single present (been ill with campylobacter for the past 3.5 weeks) decided I am not being ill anymore and poured that large expensive wine...

ds1 please go to sleep smile

SnobblyBobbly Thu 24-Dec-15 22:06:34

Yep. Same here DS5 is soundo, DD9 however is playing the long game....

I wouldn't mind but I've got a Sylvanian hotel to furnish and would quite like to be going to bed myself now......more mulled wine it is.

TimeToMuskUp Thu 24-Dec-15 22:08:29

DS2 is 4 and still WIDE AWAKE, crazy, shouty wide awake, the sort that won't be asleep for frigging hours yet. I'm knackered.

DS1 is 10 and was asleep in bed by 7.30. My second child is possessed by demons.

lordStrange Thu 24-Dec-15 22:08:45

What's that you got?

DD 6 asleep, the other one about to go up. Wrapping paper actually lost wtf!

steff13 Thu 24-Dec-15 22:08:52

Mine. But, it's only 5pm here. smile

BrandNewAndImproved Thu 24-Dec-15 22:09:04

Yup, 8 and almost 10 here. Now they're pretending to be asleep after making booby traps to catch father Christmas which involve marbles and books set out like domino's...

ghostyslovesheep Thu 24-Dec-15 22:09:50

yep - DD3 (7) still refusing to sleep (in bed) DD1 (13) and DD2 (11) have just gone up - and had a fight hmm

I don't think he's going to come!

Katz Thu 24-Dec-15 22:10:04

Both mine are awake

TheCrazyDuchess Thu 24-Dec-15 22:10:07

DD (7) has been asking since half 4 to go to bed - she is desperate for Xmas!!

ginmakesitallok Thu 24-Dec-15 22:10:12

Nope, both ours sound asleep. Dd2 (6)was all for going to bed at 8.30 this morning when norad said santa was heading off.

MinesAPintOfTea Thu 24-Dec-15 22:11:47

DS(3) is awake and desperate to go to sleep but too excited. More Baileys...

coffeeisnectar Thu 24-Dec-15 22:12:15

17 year old and 10 year old both asleep. It's quite worrying....

AdoraBell Thu 24-Dec-15 22:15:02

Mine are teenagers, they won't be asleep for a long time fhmm

MsJamieFraser Thu 24-Dec-15 22:17:20

steph13 where do you live?

ds has just been to the car and had to hide between the car and the bin... as dh heard a noise.. he was stuck for over 10 mins, he says he is now a ice cube grin

Chocolatekeepsmesane Thu 24-Dec-15 22:17:23

I've got 4 dc asleep (plus my dh hmm )

But my 2 eldest aged 8 and 10 are still awake

tilliebob Thu 24-Dec-15 22:18:47

My 7 year old is lying in bed watching Muppet Christmas Carol. The teens are coming to the watch night service with me at 11.30 so are doing jigsaws/X boxing loudly with mates.

I'm fighting to stay awake though santa

steff13 Thu 24-Dec-15 22:19:36

I live in Ohio.

OublietteBravo Thu 24-Dec-15 22:22:27

Yep - both DD (11) and DS (9) have been downstairs in the last 30 mins.

Meanwhile, I really want to go to bed.

CointreauVersial Thu 24-Dec-15 22:23:11

Mine are 16, 14 and 12. No chance of getting them to bed for a while. The bonus being that they won't be up until well after 8am, and will bring us tea before they open their stockings.

I haven't actually wrapped the stockings yet (last pre-Christmas chore) so I'm about to lock myself in the bedroom.

Picturesofmatchstickmen Thu 24-Dec-15 22:23:57

Yes my four (19,18,9,7) all awake and I feel bad as I have stopped being all jolly and winky and just told the younger two to stop talking and turn their torches off!

vvviola Thu 24-Dec-15 22:25:24

DD2 (4) has just gone to sleep, DD1(8) is sitting with DH discussing whether the stinky cheese is allowed to be opened yet. But that's because we are only just back from a lovely few hours at a dribks party with our neighbours (only planned to stay an hour, but the mulled wine was nice, and our DC were playing really nicely with their DC and the other kids from the road, that we kind of lost track of time).

MsJamieFraser Thu 24-Dec-15 22:25:44

the dh and ds should be the other way round hmm

Aw fab, Steph13, I hope they settle ok for you if not, wine is always the answer grin

ALemonyPea Thu 24-Dec-15 22:28:38

The 7 year old has been asleep since 8, the 10 and 12 year olds are still wide awake and up and down for drinks/toilet/meteor showers. The 10 year old has autism and still believes in Santa and is beyond excited. Don't think we are going to bed any time soon, let alone put presents out.

starry0ne Thu 24-Dec-15 22:28:40

Yes 8 year old came downstairs to tell me he couldn't sleep last time 10 mins ago..At least gifts are wrapped.. Things to do though..Snow to make, carrots to sort out as they are all each individually labeled for the reindeer's ..

I am drinking shandy d aren't start on wine will fall asleep myself

MsJamieFraser Thu 24-Dec-15 22:32:49

Arggg, just realised also, we got PieFace... forgot the squirty cream hmm (well dairy free as ds2 is allergic to dairy (epi pen)
