Who does that!!
I'm away with friends and last night we had curry and pizza delivered. Ordered too much and quite a lot was left.
I've just got up and was thinking a slice of cold pizza would go down well with this hangover ....... to discover it is all IN THE BIN. shock

Rarely dh and i agree on a LTB scenario, but this is one where we do

shock wtf is wrong with them?!?!?!

I do, I think it is rank to eat takeaway food the next day.

Enjolrass Sat 19-Dec-15 08:24:36

My mum does this.

She seems to think that takeaways have a higher chance of giving her food poisoning.

Personally I wouldn't have a takeaway if is suspected I wasn't getting freshly cooked food.

What is leftover pizza? never had that in my household of greedy pigs.

Janeymoo50 Sat 19-Dec-15 08:26:33

Cold pizza (and mayo) is the best hangover cure ever (plus flat Sprite). I freeze left over Chinese/Indian takeaways, rice too!! Maybe it was done when drink had been taken?

icelollycraving Sat 19-Dec-15 08:26:47

I wouldn't be eating leftover takeaway either.

TheHouseOnTheLane Sat 19-Dec-15 08:27:28

Ew. I always bin it. It's crusty and rank the next day!

MyballsareSandy2015 Sat 19-Dec-15 08:28:07

I'm trying to stop myself from hammering on bedroom doors weeping.

Sparkletastic Sat 19-Dec-15 08:28:54

Never a good idea to reheat takeaway rice - common source of food poisoning. Pizza is fine though. Write a strong letter of complaint.

MyballsareSandy2015 Sat 19-Dec-15 08:29:03

Can't believe how many of you do this!!

Iamnotloobrushphobic Sat 19-Dec-15 08:29:09

Probably me being paranoid can you be sure that a takeaway has been freshly cooked and is therefore safe to keep for eating another day?

PhoenixReisling Sat 19-Dec-15 08:30:04

What....? But why?

Were you tempted to take it out the bin.....fwink ?

fieldfare Sat 19-Dec-15 08:30:50

Anything other than rice is fine to nuke the next day. Make sure it's thoroughly piping hot all the way through and it'll be fine.
It's a travesty!!!

StillStayingClassySanDiego Sat 19-Dec-15 08:31:57

l love cold morning after curry, morning after Chinese is even better.

happystory Sat 19-Dec-15 08:31:59

I'm planning Chinese duck pancakes for lunch !

blueandgreendots Sat 19-Dec-15 08:32:35

Totally with you OP, I'd be gutted. You can't beat leftover takeaway

Cookingongas Sat 19-Dec-15 08:32:38

Oh god. These people are not your friends - the world us split into two kinds of people, normal people like you and me who appreciate the finer things in life, and these abominable takeaway nazis.

Poor poor unappreciated pizza

Enjolrass Sat 19-Dec-15 08:33:20

Probably me being paranoid can you be sure that a takeaway has been freshly cooked and is therefore safe to keep for eating another day?

Why would you be ordering from a takeaway of you weren't sure it was freshly cooked?

The rice I can see the point as they may have cooked it off and reheated it. I can't eat rice so it's never a concern

ValancyJane Sat 19-Dec-15 08:33:25

Friends don't do that. LTB immediately!!! Clearly there is no way you can ever move past this.

MyballsareSandy2015 Sat 19-Dec-15 08:33:36

Yes I did have a fleeting moment when I thought about rescuing it from the bin!!

IamSantaClaus Sat 19-Dec-15 08:34:00

I do this hmm I can't stand the smell of pizza or curry in the morning . Breakfast pizza is so wrong ... Runs away.
