AIBU?

PMS meltdown over star

I've spent the last hour trying to get the beautiful gold glittery star to sit at the top of the tree. I've worked up a sweat and I'm PMS'ing so I thought fuck it and threw the star on the floor and stomped on it and threw it in the bin. AIBU?

Sounds more like PXS to me. I dragged DH and DD round 6 shops yesterday looking for lights. PITA.

Nope. I have experienced PMS where I wanted to stomp on the head of PEOPLE. Because they had the audacity to say HELLO to me. The bastards.
The star would have gotten death after 5 minutes.

YABU. PMS is not an excuse for behaving like a tantruming child, despite lots of women using it as an excuse.

God there's some joyless people about lately.

I feel your pain flowers, I had the same issue with an angel...it ended up in the dog's toy box

I threw my sons robot out the window and broke it's leg because I was sick of the noise. Can't even blame PMS on that one as I'm pregnant.

I once heard PMS described as when you are walking down the street and want to punch a random person in the face.

I think taking it out on a gold star is admirable to be honest. Grin

Gottagetmoving? I take it you've never experienced PMS then?

In a fit of pregnancy rage I threw a tin of paint on the floor because it wouldn't paint nicely. It only had one job.
Naturally the floor was ruined and I had to pretend to DH that I dropped it.

Now I don't have anything on the top of the tree Sad. Will have to get a replacement asap Blush

Glad to hear others have done similar, it feels justified somehow Grin

Have also done similar Blush
Sainsbury's have 25% off their decorations at the moment. Perhaps find something to replace your star there?
