That Tyson Fury is a Dickhead

He is a good boxer, granted.He should so be removed from the shortlist of sports personality of the year and put up for Dickhead of the year! According to him Jessica Ennis-Hill "slaps up good" and his personal beliefs are that " A women's best place is in the kitchen and on her back". Even if he thinks it's just harmless banter and a part of his show man personality, he is still a dickhead for saying these things out aloud!

Maybe he has a few damaged brain cells from repeated boxes to the head. Feel sorry for his wife having to try and defend his stupid comments, she must feel embarrassed by him. Homosexuality and abortion on par with paedophiles comments just goes to show what a twat he is!

YANBU to have an opinion, I haven't met him so am not sure if he is.
I know he's from the Traveller community which can have some illiberal attitudes towards sexual matters and that he apparently left school at 11.

I wouldn't judge anyone by just some media quotes.

Having recently become acquainted with his charm less ing views, I concur.

I'm surprised to learn he's only 27, I would have put him at mid 40s.

No way I think he looks way older than 27!! He is in the spotlight even more now that he is a world champion regardless of his background he should keep his big ignorant mouth shut.
His wife Paris seems to think that's just the way he is.

If I had a dd he would be exactly the sort of man I would be telling her to stay well clear of. Are any of his dc girls? His wife looks very young and a bit bewildered in TV interviews. His father is daddy dickhead making reporters bow to his newly crowned son!!

Well my mum was pregnant with number 3 at 23 so that's no issue for me. It's more that at their ages now, they can't surely have been oblivious to how much of the UK thinks and feels about the concept of 'women on their backs' ffs.

The trouble with SPOTY is the title.

It has bugger all to with with personality, proven by Andy Murray winning as he doesn't actually have a personality.

It should be called sporting achievement of the year.

I complete agree the guy is an arsehole but beating Klitschko was a massive achievement and it was very recent ( the voting public have pretty short memories)- I wouldn't put money on him not winning.
