Love my kindle. I also love books, I have hundreds of them all over the house but I read on the kindle more because I like how I can have bigger text and fonts and have lots of stuff to read in one device without having to lug around books.

Have you read bright young things by the same author? Well written but no ending, very frustrating.

I'm going through a pulp crime spree at the minute so lots of James Patterson and Karen slaughter, relative easy to pick up and put down when busy

I'm having a Garth Nix fix and Robin Hobbs. Reread Nix's trilogy then read the new prequel, read Shade's Children and the first two of the Farseer trilogy. I'm waiting for the last one to get cheaper.

I love my Kindle I have arthritis in my hands and wrists and I really struggle to hold a proper book open these days.

At the moment I am reading a book called Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua. It's not a fiction book - it's about a Chinese mother and how she raised her children in the 'Chinese way' in America. It's really interesting but really eye-opening too!

The last fiction book I read was The Tea Planter's Wife, which was a fairly pleasant read.

After the party by lisa jewel. Am enjoying it so far but it's not mega gripping. Haven't read anything I have devoured for ages.

Don't know if it's me or something else. I have less patience with not brilliant books these days mainly due to the ease of buying something else on the kindle. And also I browse the internet and forums and Facebook more these days so suspect I get read out quicker if that makes sense.

Especially since smartphones and tablets. When I only had a pc it was less tempting to log in for a few minutes and I would pick up my kindle for light relief.
