To say talktalk is the worst phone/Internet/TV provider

Their customer service is shit. I was on the phone for a hour with them today and ended up screaming fuck off and putting the phone down.

I can't wait till February when I'm out of my contract. I just want something that works ffs and since they won't fix it or want to charge me for an engineer to come out I'm leaving the fuckers.

Argh Angry I've been with them for years now, renewed my contract 3 times but I'm not paying for shit customer service with Internet that keeps dropping.

They sent me a new router when I had problems with my internet dropping a lot. It solved the problem as my router was ancient as I've been with them for years as well.

Write to them? Call them back during the week?

There customer service is shocking. I used to work for them but refused to have it installed due to the shoddy service.

I don't want to ring them back and have to go through the line checks, resetting the router, unplugging the stupid phone and plugging it back in and having to type stuff in on the Internet with a username and password that they give to me and refuse to believe I've typed exactly what they've said and it doesn't work.

I've been with them for six years and they have been fine for me. I don't think I've ever called their customer services tbh, if my internet drops I just turn my router on and off again and that's always solved it.

I ordered a film to watch through their rent or own feature. My Internet dropped halfway through the film and they wouldn't refund my money.

I have a sky now TV box that's not even a contract that didn't work for one day so they sent me a ten pound voucher. I don't want sky I liked that talktalk was British owned but they can fuck off now.

(I realise I sound like a petulant toddler but I don't care they've unleashed my tantrum)

My land line is fuzzy and crackly to. It's not just my Internet dropping. It also now won't pick up in the dc room when it did before. When I rang up about that I ended up hanging up again as all they did was try to upsell me new broadband for an extra fiver a month.

I don't want to pay an extra fiver for a service that should work fine as it is.

yanbu, they are dreadful. We left the second we could (after 3 years as everytime we moved they 'renewed' our contract for another 18months.

We got out of our contract early with them. I needed the Internet for work and it wasn't fit for purpose. All I said was that I was seeking guidance from Ofcom as it wasn't fit for purpose as they released me early. Took months to sort out direct debit and refund though. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!

I agree their customer service is abysmal. So, so disgustingly bad. I'm stuck with them for now and I hate it. The service is awful. I really don't have a good thing to say.

Crackly landline can be indicative of equipment at the exchange that needs replacing. However, it can take months to get Openreach (think it's them) to admit that is the issue. Ime TalkTalk are not great.

Oh they redefine abysmal. Even after taking it to Dido 'I don't know how our data is stored' Harding they still managed to fail to use their own computer systems correctly and mistakenly referring my closed account to bailiffs twice and repeatedly suspending a number they didn't even operate.

Oh yes and despite all the stress and hours spent trying to sort it out, not a whiff of compensation.

Have to say we've had talktalk ee bt plus net orange and others and all are as equally as shit as each other. I switch every year this year got 80 sainsburys voucher and 100 cash back which meant it's pretty much free for 12 months. See where we go next year.

Found emailing chief Exec a really fast way to resolve problems.

Talktalk are staggeringly awful. They're the only company I've actually lost my temper with on the phone to the point of being rude and shouty with the customer service person. I know there's no excuse and I felt bad and apologised for shouting but oh my god everyone has a limit.

I had them years ago and they were shockingly bad. I used to lose internet connection everyday. Sometimes for days and the call centres were the worst. Changed to bt, rarely have a problem. Their customer service isn't great though.

We've been with talk talk for years and have never had any problems, we're scared to move to anyone else because they're so reliable.

Which is frankly quite weird because more or less everyone else we know who has used them has found them to be terrible Confused

Me too. I've not been able to get into my online account since July. Tried ringing them. It takes ages to get through, am then cut off. Received a letter through the post that says due to the cyber attacks, all account renewals have to be done online & the call centre can't help me. I'm getting daily calls from some company trying to get me download software (transparent attempt at a scam) so my details have clearly been sold or leaked, yet Talktalk claim they haven't. Useless lot of charlatans. We're switching as soon as the contract ends.

Can i repcommend plusnet. They been amazing, lovely yorksire accents and no problem with them for three years. Around £24 for everything including phone calls. Parebts had talk talk for one year and said never again.
