When she said she found Rees-Mogg attractive? And embarassingly, I can see her pov. I could listen to him talk for a very long time, even though I don't agree with him

Absolutely! Can't believe he's married, though, he reacted like a 15 year old boy Grin

And yes, he is quite sweet Blush

I only know him from HIGNFY but I always think how nice he seems and what a good sport he must be to take all the banter thrown at him

He's like a thinner, nerdier David Mitchell ;)

Nooooooooo.

Oh yes, he's definitely her "type". I like Dm a little too much too Blush

I was waiting for the punch line when he said his bit about Corbyn. Do you think that was all done to set up Ian's line, or was he just being a thoroughly decent chap?

David Mitchell I understand. JRM definitely not.

I thought he was that pillock Redmond...

He came across very well. Obvious that Paul didn't like him at all. I don't like Paul any more. He looks bored with HIGNFY half the time.

Love Ian.

I thought Paul was on better form tonight. His obvious disdain for Jrm brought him back to life!

Apologies Jump. I didn't see your post.

I've always found him attractive. I'm a dyed in the wool Labour supporter!

Why is Victoria Coren-Mitchell while David remains just Mitchell?

Don't know about rees- mog but my crush on the lovely victoria is reaching new levels.

I'm not sure. I've often wondered why she chose to add the Mitchell when she could have stayed as Coren but then it's up to her I suppose.

I think that's the way the double barrelled on marriage is usually dobe, isn't it? I can't think of any men who've taken their wives' name in that way

I just don't find Tories attractive.

Why is Victoria Coren-Mitchell while David remains just Mitchell?

Because that's what they want to be called I imagine.
What an odd question.

Four kids Hixie, but then he is a Catholic with rather extreme views. Nothing much to like about him and yet...

Oh sorry *SoupDragon" I'll rephrase it. Why did Victoria choose to take on her husband's name as well as her birth name, while her husband chose not to make a similar adjustment? I get that is what she chose to do, my question is why?

"When she said she found Rees-Mogg attractive?"

Yeah she is quite attractive.

YANBU at all! I said I agree and DH reacted with great shock, I think he's lovely and seem totally decent.

I think for the woman to add her husband's surname to hers without a hyphen and without the husband taking it is as some Americans do it, isn't it? I think it's quite a good way.
