Sainsburys hadn't planned to make any more, so at the moment, production has stopped and all stock has been delivered to stores. They are in talks to make more because of how in demand they are, but there are no guarantees.

Company policy is that they will not hold them for anyone, or allow more than 3 to be purchased at once.

If he's checking on the way home, he's probably going to be out of luck, though - they are put out at store opening.

You can get one from eBay or Amazon but you'll pay well over the odds. £30 is the going rate at the moment.

Bit off topic but I know someone who works for sainsburys and they've been told if they buy a Mog to sell on eBay they will face disciplinary action! Not at all sure how they would even know to be honest (don't worry said person isn't going to do it anyway) but shows the level of demand they've had!

The Ikea cat toy looks very like Mog. 'Ca-Tuh' as he is known, is my 20 month old dd's most beloved and treasured toy. She is now convinced that Mog's Christmas Calamity is in fact starring Cat.

They have two versions in waterstones. Smaller than the sainsburys ones though. Saw them an hour ago next to the mog book.
