Ok not really.

But now you're here AIBU to ask you to read this thread which is really quite important instead?

TrollTheRespawnJeremy Thu 19-Nov-15 15:54:50

YABU. Gin is an important part of the 5 a day.

catfordbetty Thu 19-Nov-15 15:56:35

I think gin would not be to a child's taste. I would recommend sherry instead.

Pyjamaface Thu 19-Nov-15 15:56:50

I want gin in my cereal. YABU

Feeches Thu 19-Nov-15 15:57:40

I like gin.

HappyHippyChick Thu 19-Nov-15 15:58:18

YABU you're lucky to have a MIL who cares about your child enough to give them cereal.

HicDraconis Thu 19-Nov-15 15:59:54

DS2 doesn't like sherry though. Seriously, the linked thread is about people having their say on the NHS - which is why it's not been widely publicised. Please read, think and reply!

Morro Thu 19-Nov-15 16:09:38

Gin philistine!

Enjolrass Thu 19-Nov-15 16:11:44

It's actually gin-ist

StrawberryTeaLeaf Thu 19-Nov-15 16:12:55

hmm

OurBlanche Thu 19-Nov-15 16:15:20

Why don't you say what the link is?

I'm not clicking on it to find it takes me off to some weird/illegal porn site.

If the post is so bloody important, stop being so secretive, just be plain....

OurBlanche Thu 19-Nov-15 16:16:04

OK.. so you did... sort of...

munkisocks Thu 19-Nov-15 16:16:43

This reminds me what I read in news today. Asda online shop substituted baby wipes for whisky on someone's shop ha.

BarbaraofSeville Thu 19-Nov-15 16:20:10

Oh come on OP, this is Mumsnet, no one feeds their DCs cereal grin.

HicDraconis Thu 19-Nov-15 16:21:22

Sorry. The link is to another mumsnet thread (I said "this thread" in the text but obviously could be lying there) - and after posting it the OP mentioned she should have used a catchier title. So I started another one, with variation on her catchy title to try to increase traffic.

There are huge threads where someone is complaining about the junior doctors strike, there are massive funding issues and healthcare gaps. It's important to everyone to have their say.

grin

MrsFrisbyMouse Thu 19-Nov-15 16:22:03

i once did a 'holding order' for Ocado. (i.e. random stuff over £40) I forgot to update it.

My husbands face when he took delivery of a bottle of gin and 12 cans of sardines was priceless.

Sardines and gin is now code house for any silly forgetful moment.

PassiveAgressiveQueen Thu 19-Nov-15 16:21:50

i read a recipie for pink gin yesterday, the original just had gin and bitters, apparently it needs a spoonful of sugar for modern tastes.
So add sugar as well as the gin.

Tiggeryoubastard Thu 19-Nov-15 16:25:10

Fucking hell Passive what sort of parent are you? Advocating sugar for a child wanders off muttering about feckless parenting

StrawberryTeaLeaf Thu 19-Nov-15 16:25:52

I'm not clicking on it to find it takes me off to some weird/illegal porn site.

Or the thread currently in active asking if anyone's tried a 'MMF threesome' <nervous>

OurBlanche Thu 19-Nov-15 16:31:10

Erk!

Thanks for nothing, Strawberry... I had managed to miss that one - so far!

smile

HicDraconis Thu 19-Nov-15 16:33:26

I promise. It links to AnotherEffingOrangsRevel's post also in AIBU. If you'd rather not click the link, thread title is "...to ask how you feel about the NHS?" Scroll down & click direct smile

She was right though, this thread already has more replies!

StrawberryTeaLeaf Thu 19-Nov-15 16:43:11

I'm trying to isue a warning Blanche, not drum up business for the thread in question grin

Debbriana1 Thu 19-Nov-15 16:48:19

Trying to manipulate the freedom people have on the Mn by posting misleading heading. I will not be clicking on the link even though it maybe for a good cause.
