Whether or not you think IBU I'm going to bellow out the words to the Marsellaise when the anthems are played tonight. And it's better than the English anthem by far.

Thread title has to be the best auto-incorrect of the day.

Regardless, I kind of hope France win tonight. Just 'cause.

Thought it was very moving. Not watching the match, but wanted to watch the anthem singing and crowd support.

I've just done the same. My friend in Paris says people are jittery, but defiant.

I shed a little tear at the singing of the Mayonnaise Marseillaise - especially when both teams stood together for the team pics.

The Marseillaise gives me goosebumps anyway, knowing its origins. Even more so after Friday.

I don't really care who wins (if it were rugby, that would be a different matter) but glad they're playing. An unimportant friendly becomes a strikingly significant fixture. BBC said thousands of extra tickets were sold since the weekend.

OTOH, tonight's Germany v Netherlands has been called off because of a specific threat www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34849263

Outstanding autocorrect. Grin

Mayonnaise goes well with French Fries, though, so I guess it's appropriate.

I don't think YWBU at all. Smile

I love autocorrect !

I always sing the Marseillaise anyway - a)because I can and b) because it's rousing: frightens the colleagues at work, but what the hell...

I thought it must be an affectionate spoof version, like 'ou est le papier'
