AIBU?

Asking gym for refund as Shawna and steam room are closed

The gym is remodeling, they have shut the s&s rooms while they do this, although physically they could of left the old ones open while building new ones.

Its going to be 8 weeks without either. Aibu to ask them for a refund of my fivety a month?

I really look forward to them after a session.

Poor Shawna.

You could try to negotiate a partial refund. I don't think they'll refund the whole amount.

Shawna needs a refresh every now and again!

You should ask for fivety percent of your fivety back, assuming you can use all the other facilities.

Yes it's annoying but in my gym they don't give any money back when they have a refit. No harm in asking though.

Fifty sauna even!

Stupid dyslexia.

Hmmm tricky, Shawna is definitely worth a fivety on her own.

You could ask for a portion of your 'divert' it won't be all or half.

Yiu pay your membership for the gym. The sauna is only a small part of the facilities.

Ffs should not mn and talk to the child

You could ask for half of your 'fivety'

And the second typo was you

Don't worry about the typos OP we all do it as you can see, they make most of smile Smile

Yabu, there's other things you can use at the gym. It's probably much required maintenance too.

Aww l know its only banter and being light hearted but there's somethings you don't take the piss out of and dyslexia is certainly one of them.
Tbh Tom. I just thought it was auto correct not being able to keep its snout out.

Fifty pound a month seems a bit steep.

Zipping I am actually crying with laughter at that! Grin Grin Much to DD 5 months chagrin as she's try to feed.

Sorry OP not taking the piss out of your dyslexia.

Yes you could ask for a small rebate but there's a good chance they'll refuse.

Fivety a month is the going rate round our way. If not more like seventy.

I'd ask. Every so often I get a short term membership of a local gym and only use the pool, steam room and jacuzzi. I run and cycle so don't want or need conventional gym equipment, but occasionally feel a desire to ease my aches and pains by sitting in a pond of other people's sweat and skin flakes Grin.

If they weren't there, there would be no point me going.

OP has said they have dyslexia. Can we leave the spelling jokes alone now?
I would ask. The worst they can say is no.

Love the word fivety :) reminds me of Bilbo Baggins' eleventy first birthday.

I don't think anyone made fun of dyslexia.

I'd ask. Eight weeks is a long time.

Wow. OP says she's dyslexic and yet the jokes still continue. Nice.

Agree, ask. The worst they'll do is say no, right?

Also, why ISN'T it fivety? It's forty, sixty, seventy...
