I wish I could tell you the background to this so you can get the full picture of how crap it is but don't want to out myself and don't know/not sure I'd want to name-change.
I'm pregnant and in a difficult situation through no fault of my own, I've worked hard over a decade to get here and it's still a difficult situation, but I've done what's right and not taken the easy way out that would have led to so much hurt.
2 friends have recently said they'll help me (one promised a schedule of concrete help off their own back), both have let me down. Thankfully, I have other lovely friends that restore my faith in humanity but basically, again through no fault of my own, I don't have enough support so anyone letting me down has an impact.
Some "loved ones" have done fuck all to support me, and that's shit, but I suppose at least they don't promise things, then don't deliver, then don't even contact me to apologise! But on the other hand, what's worse, that they don't ever contact me or show any support, or the friends that do sometimes help and show support, but sometimes let me down? Sod both groups, I'm going to try and stick with the supportive-and-show-up types!!!!

I'm nearly full-term pregnant and still lugging furniture and god knows what about, trying to get ready for the baby and these idiots have let me down. I'm not doing anything to endanger the baby but i'm working ALL THE SODDING TIME one way and another so will be going into single parenthood already knackered BEFORE the newborn sleep deprivation starts.
