It's only a word and I cant stand all this 'ooh i hate that word' bandwagon that most women seem to be on... Probably just because they've heard other folk 'hate it'... It's a word I never hear in real life. Some of you might think I live in a rarified bubble, but the people I work with don't swear and neither do my friends and family, except for Teenage DD, and she doesn't use this word either.

In Scotland it's just a word, it's lost a lot of its power. I used to work in an engineering firm, everyone was a bit rough and ready and would regularly say things like "some cunt's used all the fucking bog roll", nobody batted an eyelid.

When you think about it, being upset by a collection of sounds because society has told you to be upset by it is silly.
Being upset because someone calls you that is less silly because you are being upset by their attitude but just at the thought of a word......?
