To ask you about an animal lodge...

It's a quick question but I'm racking my brains.

A year ago maybe, Glorious Soups ran a promotion where you could win various prizes. One was to stay in a UK safari park type area with elephants and other wild animals. You could stay in different lodges that matched the animals that were near that lodge. One was called the 'Elephant Lodge'.

I want to book a surprise few days away for my mum and she will not go abroad now for various reasons. I am trying to find this place but I can't. I seemed to remember it being in Kent but the only place that comes up when I look online is the Aspinall Foundation and it definitely wasn't them. Does anyone know where I mean? They may have had giraffes too? Alternatively- has anyone any ideas for a UK break for a lady that is nearly 70 but is young at heart?

I wanted to send her abroad with her friend but due to recent terrorist attacks and also health insurance (she has a few issues) she has said she won't fly now or go abroad. Such a shame but I want her to have a break. I'm thinking of booking it for Feb (her birthday).

Any ideas?

Thankyou in advance- I've been looking for ages!

The aspinall foundation one is Port Lympne, it wasn't that? I don't think they have elephants but the do have giraffes and lots of places to stay.

It isn't Aspinall but thank you anyway. Smile I looked at their website tonight thinking it was the right place but it isn't.

Whipsnade wild animal park has lodges too, and a great after-hours tour.
