Bit of a newbie to Dr Who but started watching on Netflix about 3 weeks ago and am on series 4. There's definitely something about David Tennant and there's a running joke about companions, Captain Jack, etc. fancying him but I can't work out if he's actually attractive. AIBU???

He isn't.

There's two things about DT. His left nostril, and his right.

Not my cup of tea.

Discopanda Fri 06-Nov-15 00:22:25

His nostrils do go into overdrive when he gets angry...

polyhymnia Fri 06-Nov-15 00:22:36

Attractive, IMO.

Gruntfuttock Fri 06-Nov-15 00:22:38

No, he isn't even slightly attractive.

Fatmomma99 Fri 06-Nov-15 00:23:51

lots of teeth.

but an amazing actor!. I fancy him for that, but not physically!

Thereshegoesagain Fri 06-Nov-15 00:23:55

Those brown eyes.
Oh yes.

GladysTheGolem Fri 06-Nov-15 00:24:07

No.
He does shouting and shaking instead of acting. <not a fan>

Bambambini Fri 06-Nov-15 00:24:53

Not to me but I haven't really seen him in that much. He might have a great screen presence.

MissStressBum Fri 06-Nov-15 00:26:42

If you're not sure whether you find him attractive then you probably mega fancy him but feel slightly ashamed and therefore can't consciously acknowledge it smile ha!

Or ... he's very confident for such a peculiar appearing man which can grab the old attention!

All I know is - I lost interest in Dr Who once he left!

ThatsHowYouGetAnts Fri 06-Nov-15 00:29:34

I never liked him at all until I watched Who, then I did an about-face. I don't think he's very physically attractive, but he's got a lot of presence and he's really likeable.

Behooven Fri 06-Nov-15 00:30:15

Nope, not for me.

CainInThePunting Fri 06-Nov-15 00:30:20

I'd go as far as to say he is asexual.
No offence to the poor bloke, I'm sure he is great in Dr Who, I just can't watch that shit it.

MinesAPintOfTea Fri 06-Nov-15 00:32:10

Very. Must rewatch his era in next year's break...

BrideOfWankenstein Fri 06-Nov-15 00:38:02

DW is on netflix? Need to pay for It.
David Tennant is not attractive, but I love his acting.

bialystockandbloom Fri 06-Nov-15 00:40:59

Yes he damn well bloody IS.

HTH.

SinisterBumFacedCat Fri 06-Nov-15 00:43:50

He probably is, but for some reason I can't get past the feeling that he might be a bit of a knob. confused

bialystockandbloom Fri 06-Nov-15 00:45:55

You need to see him in Casanova (was on bbc3 years ago, before DW). The swoonsomeness (yes that is a word) takes you by surprise. And as the Doctor he was very special.

nocoolnamesleft Fri 06-Nov-15 00:54:40

I'm not sure that he's good looking. But he IS attractive. Not sure if that's because I've only seen him playing intelligent parts, and that is something of an aphrodisiac.

Oh, and i don't know about his screen presence, but his stage presence is swoon-worthy.

Discopanda Fri 06-Nov-15 00:57:18

He is definitely more attractive than Matt Smith and I don't get people who find Benedict Cumberbatch attractive at all because he, quite frankly, looks like a llama.

Tapirs Fri 06-Nov-15 01:01:03

Attractive eyes and smile but his mouth's a bit thin and weird when he's not smiling.

Elllicam Fri 06-Nov-15 01:01:11

I quite liked him as the Doctor but I've seen him in other things and not been particularly fussed.

howtorebuild Fri 06-Nov-15 01:03:12

No, not my type.

UnderTheGreenwoodTree Fri 06-Nov-15 01:09:38

Yeah - Casanova. I was watching the first episode, and I wondered why on earth cast him as Casanova, and Rupert double-barrel as the nasty, when Rupert is so, so lovely.

By the end of the episode, I kind of got it. I think it's his energy. He has something about him.
