I think we can all agree that the best thing for children with a disrupted education, due to reasons beyond their control, is to take their school place away and send them to a school that they have even less chance of getting to regularly.

The father in question won a court battle for taking his daughter to Florida in term time, on the basis, she does not 'regularly' miss school. I'll explain as the OP hasn't
