Is on mumsnet!

He is going to be a dad and has been researching. He asked me about mumsnet and I laughed and said yes I was in it, have been mumsnetter for years and he asked for my user name!

He also described mumsnet as the site where 'parents post for advice and then some get torn to shreds'

My reply was only if they are twats! Too strong do you think? Grin

Now really that's not on is it? This is my place.

Aibu to tell him to mind his business?

I may now name change. Smile

Oh and he swiped a tiny glass of champaign from my dils hand, that I had poured her, and gave us both a lecture, and proceeded to drink it himself!

I have created a monster.

Hmm, you maybe should have nc'd before posting this. Grin

Both my ds are fathers. I'm pretty sure neither is on MN (they both know I use it, but not my username) and the one dil who might use a parenting forum would be much more likely to be on NM than here.

But should they be denied the great joys of an AIBU flaming?

You are right actually I would quite enjoy flaming him. Revenge for the sleepless nights. Grin

My dil is more mn now but giving birth can bring out the net mums virus can't it?

The supportive 'hun' etc. Shudder shudder. Grin

Oooh dear. Still she may grow out if it.
It does require a certain maturity to develop your bullshit radar and hone your skills of 'I don't give a crap'

Could hun be banned along with bubba and lil dude?
