AIBU to not put my trolley away?

In my local, large, Tesco they employee people to do this. They generally have at least one person a day on this in the busy hours. I know this, I visit daily, have knowledge etc. This is fact.

It is a low wage job I expect, but it keeps those who will or can do it for what ever reasons in a job with a wage.

So AIBU to never put my trolley back thinking I'm helping keep them in work.

NB. I never leave it a car park space, just on the path.

Yes because they never stay in that one space where you left it. Stop being lazy.

Do you drop litter because people are paid to pick it up?

Our local Tesco employ people to collect the trolleys from the trolley parks and return them to the storefront. The customers pretty much all return their trolleys to the trolley parks. Dumping your trolley seems lazy and unhelpful to me.

Yes you are. There are trolley parks for a reason. Leaving your trolley on the path or anywhere else it can roll into bushes, cars or people. It's lazy.

Therefore you ABVVVU. Put it away!

Was it you who left their trolley to run into my car OP and dent it?

I never abandon it but put it in a trolley shelter in the car park. Yes I think you are being lazy

As far as I'm aware, they employ people to bring the trolleys from the little trolley parks around the car park back to the front of the store where we all want to collect them from as we enter the store. If it were my job to collect the trolleys, I'd much prefer to collect a stack from one place than have to trawl up and down the paths, collecting them one at a time.

Dropping litter keeps people in a job but I still wouldn't do it.

AIBU to punch people in the face. After all, if it wasn't for me those Dra in A&E wouldn't even have a job. Not to mention all of the police and legal people who rely on me for work. I'm such a fucking martyr me.

Hmm

Put your trolley away and stop being idle.

And the trolley people are employed to take the trolleys from the trolley shelters back to outside the shop entrance.

Abandoned trolleys aren't safe. A gust if wind and they go sailing across the car park.

So you really think if you take it to the trolley park someone will lose their job? Hmm

It's also our duty to eat sugary food to keep you in a job MrsMorton.

You're welcome.

Are you a trolley troll?

YABU and very very lazy. Just put it back.

They're employed to take the trolleys back from the shelters in the car park to the main bit outside the store, not to pick up after lazy buggers who can't be bothered.

Trolleys roll into people's cars and damage them. Just put them back! I'm sure you'd be pretty pissed off if a trolley rolled into your car and damaged it thanks to someone else's laziness.

Yabvu I grabbed an errant shopping trolley before it smashed into some unsuspecting victims pride and joy I then had to struggle (with onlookers who did nothing) with my full trolley of shopping a 2.5 year old DS and the empty trolley to put it in the trolley park so it didn't bang into any cars, people etc

on the path?

Where a gust of wind could blow it into a car?

Or where it blocks the path for a person using a wheelchair or who is not very mobile or someone with a pushchair?

When supermarket car parks have trolley bays dotted all over them so you don't even have to undertake the mammoth trek back to the front of the store?

YABU for all the reasons PP have stated but you know that.
