MaryBerrysEyelashes Fri 07-Aug-15 16:50:20

ScooseIsLoose Fri 07-Aug-15 16:50:28

Get a life hmm

woowoo22 Fri 07-Aug-15 16:50:41

You put your food in the seat of the trolley? Why?

MaryBerrysEyelashes Fri 07-Aug-15 16:50:47

That biscuit. The last refuge of the witless

ReputableBiscuit Fri 07-Aug-15 16:50:49

My son does. He has autism. He finds the noise of supermarkets overwhelming. He feels secure in the trolley. It distracts him. He plays with a tablet in it and I put the shopping round him. He's 8. I don't care one iota what you think, you judgey arse.

Ok then. Thanks for sharing.

vaticancameos Fri 07-Aug-15 16:50:56

As opposed to sea gulls shitting on the trolleys outside?

MaryBerrysEyelashes Fri 07-Aug-15 16:51:12

No. The higher up Trollies. Half size

googoodolly Fri 07-Aug-15 16:51:26

The food has been in far worse places - the floor of chillers/warehouses aren't exactly hygienic!

msgrinch Fri 07-Aug-15 16:51:47

If this is your main, trolley related concern, I think you'd be shocked to see what foxes/birds/cats/dogs do on and near them.

MaryBerrysEyelashes Fri 07-Aug-15 16:52:20

how long can you keep using a trolley though biscuit ?

WineIsTheAnswer Fri 07-Aug-15 16:52:36

Because minus the clothed bums of toddlers those trolleys would be so clean and hygienic. hmm

MaryBerrysEyelashes Fri 07-Aug-15 16:52:45

Seagulls? Not here

MishMooshAndMogwai Fri 07-Aug-15 16:53:38

It would take over a week for us to shop if dd walked round. No thanks.

Keep your food in the packets, your head out your arse, your business out of my trolley and we'll all be happy smile

teenagetantrums Fri 07-Aug-15 16:54:20

Well you do know that rats, birds and other wildlife play in those trolleys at night and they are never cleaned, well at least not in the supermarket I work at. I don't like children sitting in the trolleys as its dangerous seen a few stand and fall out and crack their heads open, thier parents always try to blame supermarket of course.

MaryBerrysEyelashes Fri 07-Aug-15 16:54:29

I can tell you ALL put toddlers in them. So uncouth.

HeffaLumpers Fri 07-Aug-15 16:55:19

Of course supermarket trolleys are wonderfully clean things, kept in a sanitised environment ready for your shopping. Oh no wait, they are left in the rain, in a car park so anything you are going to be eating that comes in contact with the trolley you should be washing so it is irrelevant how many kids sit in the trolley. YABU

PresidentTwonk Fri 07-Aug-15 16:55:23

Trolleys are filthy, food is packaged. Supermarkets are filthy, people sneeze and touch the packaging (if you're lucky). Children are everywhere, animals are everywhere, adults are everywhere, the world is filthy but a bit of grime does you good, keeps your immune system in working order grin I couldn't care less where kids sit in a trolley, to be honest I'd rather them in a trolley than racing around where I'm trying to walk.

msgrinch Fri 07-Aug-15 16:55:58

I don't own a toddler so no, you are wrong.
