Sad

Sorry to hear that you are suffering.

Since hitting the peri-meopause I have suffered terribly from anxiety.

I am a confident, outgoing person normally and I try very hard not to let anxiety affect me or stop me from the doing the things that I need or want to do but it's fucking hard sometimes.

Enjoy your day out with your DD and stick two fingers up to it Flowers

Can someone do the same for my anxiety please! Been trying for 2 hours to go to the shops but the voice in my head keeps stopping me and saying but what if something happens ffs. Driving me insane. I've so much to do and just cannot get off the settee. Sad

I had severe anxiety many years ago. Bad enough to be hospitalised. I never thought I would ever have a life without it, but it has been many years since I had an anxiety attack and it can be overcome.
I hope you get help managing yours, I know how distressing it can be. Flowers

3lovelykids - go to the shops, you will be fine. Just take a deep breath and go and then when you get back we will chat to you and take your mind off things xx

I'll join you in telling it.

Having a relapse of my (invisible) illness ATM and just realising how much it has impacted my mental health as well as my physical. I've gone right back to being afraid to leave the house.

Well done LEM that's an achievement. I hate crowds. Hate hate hate them.

Have you tried any mindfulness techniques for when you're anxious? Sometimes I manage to remember and it does stop the spiralling panic (and for me, things like repeating sentences in my head over and over) by just sort of observing the worry and accepting it... rather than hating myself for it. If that makes any sense.

Now I just need to remember it myself because it sure has gone out the window lately.
